Game Sketch
Wet, wet, wet....is definitely how you would describe the September 8th ballgame.  As we set up for tailgating, we knew there was a chance for rain but didn't expect a monsoon. After moving the tailgate tent, the thunderstorms rolled in and dumped inches of rain.  We persevered and cooked up a great supper of spaghetti, salad, and great desserts.

The first game, in the newly renovated Reynolds Razorback stadium, was about as wet as the tailgate. In fact, the start of the game was delayed as well as a portion of the game due to the storms in the area. Arkansas scored first and remained in the lead until the 4th quarter, but with no real offense Tennessee scored 2 field goals and a touchdown to claim victory over the Hogs.

Instructions from the Head TailgaterTue 9/4/2001 10:35 PM via e-mail

OK, it may not have looked very good...well, it may have looked pretty bad....OK, it looked nasty. BUT we won. I won't make any predictions for this Sat...except to say, that we will be tailgating at the Ole Main location about 5:30. Our goal is to be there between 5:00 and 5:30. I know some of you won't get to be there. Please let us know if you will join us...and as always, friends are welcome. Just let us know so we will have enough food.

The menu is Italian.  I am making spaghetti sauce and will bring the noodles. Robby and Tara will bring the meat…ground beef and sausage.

We will need others to bring:
* salad
* dressings
* bread
* desserts
* sturdy plates and napkins, forks

Everyone bring your own drink.

Be sure to wear RED and not orange. GO HOGS! BEAT TENNESSEE! (Todd doesn't want to hear Rocky Top ALL night!)

Debbie
