Dennie Kids: April 2, 2010

Highlights from today:  (click here for pictures)

  • A lazy morning-which included lots of books, breakfast, Bible story, watching the man fix the car window, legos, Mom changing out Campbell’s clothes, playing airplane and then watching the roof man and then the roof lady
  • Playing “sink or float” with our Easter eggs.  Anything that we put in them would float, so Mom then told us to just go and find things that would sink.  We tried one train, and then another, and then 30 more and they all would sink!
  • Reagan and Anderson watching a movie and Campbell sleeping while Mom was on the treadmill.  Graham stayed right beside Mom the entire time-just sitting playing with toys.  He did bolt out of the room when the speaker fell down onto the treadmill
  • Late afternoon naps for everyone-Reagan did wake up in time for a lollipop before everyone else woke up.  Everyone watching a movie and opening their Easter cards from Nonna and Pops
  • Heading to church so Campbell could perform her understudy roll.  We stopped at Subway first for supper but then line was too long so we drove through Sonic.  Reagan, Anderson and Graham were a little scared of all of the people dressed up.
  • Campbell was in a great mood tonight and was ready to perform-but baby Jesus #1 did wonderful so she will wait for her acting debut.  Unfortunately, since she was so good tonight that means she won’t be as well behaved on her night!
  • Coming home and everyone staying up past 9!  Dad is just hoping that means they all sleep later in the morning (Mom doubts that will happen!)
