Dennie Kids: November 3, 2010

Highlights from today: (click here for pictures)

  • Graham and Campbell spent the morning at Grannymom and Grandpa’s house-they enjoyed lots of attention.  Graham even ate yogurt for Grannymom-he follows Reagan and Anderson’s lead at home and won’t touch it if it has fruit in it
  • Reagan and Anderson went to see Dr. Ted this morning.  Everyone got a thumbs up and left with lots of goodies: toothbrush, floss, toothpaste, bracelet, ring, sticky man, silly band, sticker-Dr. Ted didn’t give them a sucker as he did last time we were there though
  • Coming home to play, read stories, work in our workbooks, play soccer, color a picture and that was all before lunch.  After lunch, Mom worked on the laundry and rearranging Campbell’s clothes while everyone played upstairs (Mom can hardly get anything done with Campbell around-crawling to the stairs, eating toys, emptying drawers, being tackled by her brothers)
  • Nap time-Mom let Reagan and Anderson lay on sleeping bags for nap in separate rooms.  Anderson sleeps so hard that she thought maybe he wouldn’t take a nap since she gave him toys to play with too but alas he fell asleep.  He did wake up quicker and in a better mood.
  • Supper at church.  Bro. Paul ate at our table tonight.  The kids did turn on the good behavior and were very good.  Anderson must have been looking at Bro. Paul’s coat and tie when he turned to Jason and asked “where is your tie?”
  • Cubbie time-Anderson just stood by the door and didn’t go in the class until his teacher and came and got Dad, then Dad observed him banging on the table and quickly entered his room again.  Graham sat spell bound in puppets-probably thinking “that Cubbie bear voice sounds familiar tonight.”  Mom was listening to Cubbie tonight and when Graham had to leave, he put his hands to his eyes and tried to hold it together but absolutely fell apart.  Mom tried her best not to fall apart too but she watched and he was fine in just a few minutes
