Dennie Kids: December 1, 2010

Highlights from today: (click here for pictures)

  • Graham’s internal clock is off lately-he has been waking up between 6 and 6:30.  Tomorrow, when Grannymom takes her early morning walk by the house, he will sitting on the porch waiting!
  • When Graham wakes up and lets everyone know he is awake, he wakes up Campbell who was a little fussy this morning because she was still sleepy!  Reagan and Anderson were quick to get their clothes on since Dad found the “getting ready” list that Mom had made a while back
  • Breakfast, books and then playing.  Since Reagan had some type of sandwich for every meal yesterday, Mom didn’t want to do toast this morning.  And Reagan was not happy at all with this idea of Mom.  She finally settled on something and told Mom she didn’t want any apple.  After the boys had finished the apple she thought she might like some.  Good thing Mom had some more.
  • Anderson on the other hand, said he didn’t want any banana.  But once Reagan and Graham had finished the banana, he decided he wanted one.  It was too late since that was the last one.  No one could make up their mind this morning
  • After breakfast and a little cleaning by Mom, it was time to work on our letter P.  We cut our parrots feathers, painted the letter and even had some popcorn.  Mom was quite impressed with the kids interest today-probably was the popcorn
  • Dad came home for lunch and everyone ate and then more playing.  Soon, Graham was incredibly fussy which makes for a fussy house.  Mom sent him to bed for nap and he crawled out of his bed.  Mom tried again and it worked-probably due to the spanking spoon and milk
  • Supper at church-the kids were so distracted looking for Jason that they could hardly eat.  Campbell is probably the best eater of the crew-except for the boys who devoured their cake.
  • Cubbies-Dad picked up Campbell and Graham early to head home before the rush.  He had to walk back to give Mom the other jackets.  Then as he opened the car door to put them in-he saw that his car seats were still out from the other day.  So they had to walk back and wait on every one else!
  • Pulling Santa down for the first day of December.  They are so excited and think that Santa is coming tomorrow!
