REAGAN... on the STAGE!
Highlights from today:  (click here for pictures)
  • Graham started out the morning in a fussy mood.  He fussed and fussed while I was in the shower (I pretend that I can’t hear anyone through my “sound proof shower curtain”)  Robby eventually came to the rescue and reminded him with the spoon that fussing wasn’t allowed in this house.
  • We stopped at Sonic on the way to church and as we were sitting there waiting on our food, we saw the biggest lightening bolt and loudest thunder we had seen in awhile.  Robby and I both jumped which caused Graham to jump and cover his ears with a whimper.  Campbell didn’t have the same reaction, she thought it was funny and started giggling and clapping.
  • Church day this morning and the boys were a bit upset that they didn’t get to go to big church this morning.  But Graham was pleased that he got to go to Mr. Lynn’s class.
  • Lunch was at Nonna’s house and we floated the car there.  The kids enjoyed their hot dogs and Campbell is quite the bean eater (oh, that must be where the smell is coming from tonight!)  After supper, they played for a bit and then it was time to head home for naps.
  • Reagan was the first up for naps-she got her coloring book out, turned on the tv and was going to get her own snack when I finally stirred and realized that we had 15 minutes to get everyone re-dressed and ready for church.
  • We made it a bit late but soon dropped off everyone and made it to our class.  The boys came into big church to see Reagan sing.  Earlier in the day, Reagan said that she didn’t know what they were singing or what the words were.  She did know the words and stood on the front row singing away.  The boys were so happy to see Reagan and Graham shouted to all around us “there she is” when she popped up on the big screen.
  • Reagan was so proud to see all the grandparents and to get lots of compliments on how well she sang.  After church, they had cookies and lemonade.  The kids sat on the floor and devoured their cookies before we headed home.
  • New twist on sleeping arrangements around here.  Reagan has started sleeping on the bottom bunk now. I thought she would still have chosen the top but she seems to prefer the bottom.
