Highlights from today: (Click here for pictures)
- It was work morning around here so everyone headed to Grannymom and Grandpa’s house for the morning while I ran off to work. They are always so excited when they find out that Robby and I are not staying.
- They convinced Grannymom and Grandpa to take them to Rock Creek and play. Lilly as with the crew so it took 2 cars to get them all over there. It sounded like things were pretty full and crazy. The big news was a green kid hit Graham and Lilly and they both cried (I assume the green kid was wearing a green shirt)
- I headed over to pick them up and since they weren’t there, grabbed their stuff and headed back home. But we met in the neighborhood so I turned around to load up the crew. After they had lunch (and boy were they hungry), we were finally on our way home
- Campbell was asleep by the time we made it home and Graham decided that he wanted to skip school and take a nap. The newness of school for him has worn off and that is a bit fine with me-Anderson will sit and work but will also play when I need to help just Reagan but Graham wants me to constantly be handing him things to work on.
- Campbell and Graham must have been exhausted because they slept from 1ish to 4 and 5 respectively. Anderson finished his school work and Reagan finished hers and they had lots of time to play while waiting on the rest of the crew to wake up.
- We had leftovers when Robby came home and then Robby and I went outside to work on the roof bag. Can you imagine what happens to a house when you leave a 5, 4, 3 and 1 year old in the house alone-well, the girls put on an enormous amount of dress of clothes, the boys take off the couch cushions and start jumping, Campbell does a little work on my computer and most of the toys were dumped out in the den-but it was well worth it because we were able to figure out our roof bag and get it loaded up.
- We took a little ride around the block to make sure we had strapped everything down decently and drove to show Grandpa our work. When we made it home everyone had a shower and then yogurt for snack before bed
