How about some Monday Night Football?
  • When I woke up this morning, I heard Robby on the monitor with the kids asking them if they wanted donuts.  By the time I stumbled out of the bedroom, they were coming down the steps.  Robby ran to get donuts early, early this morning.  That did help get us out the door at a decent time-and I needed every extra second today as it was my first day driving the van.
  • Campbell had spent the night at Grannymom's house and had a blast.  She woke up at 6 and had been going strong all day long.
  • I dropped off Keaton at Nonna's house and they spent the morning together-a bath, working on saying "quack, quack" and lots of strawberries.
  • Then we dropped off Graham and today was fire truck day at school so Graham was able to climb in a firetruck.  This was his third one to climb into in less than a week-he is becoming quite the little fire chief.
  • Next up was dropping off Reagan and Anderson-only place that I know of yet that the van blends in.  There are at least 5 other 15 passenger vans there and those other moms whip them in and out of parking spots so there is hope for me!
  • Soon I was finished with work and picked up Campbell at Grannymom's house.  She said that she was ready to go to her house but first we had to pick up Graham and then Keaton.
  • So the funniest moment of my day was when I parked the van at Nonna's house and Campbell unbuckled.  Then I heard her shout "how do I get out of here? where's the door?"  That van is so big poor Campbell got lost in there.
  • At Nonna's house, we all had lunch, a quick walk and then build a city out of blocks before going home.  On Mondays, while Keaton and Campbell take their naps, Graham is my buddy.  He doesn't leave my side-I have learned to embrace it.  I usually do my coupons while he watches a movie and then find something else to do near him so he doesn't have to chase me all over the house.
  • Soon Graham was joined at home by Reagan and Anderson but not for long.  We hurried around to change clothes and then headed to the football games and cheerleading.  The boys seem to do better each time-well, kind of.  Anderson missed a few passes but did pull a flag.  Graham was majorly distracted tonight but did run a few yards.  Those kids are so much bigger than him and he just basically freezes when he gets the ball-who wouldn't though?  Now, Reagan is in love with cheerleading and was so happy that she could remember the new cheer tonight.
  • We had sandwiches on the way home and a few crackers once we made it home.  Then it was bedtime for all the kids-they were all pretty exhausted tonight!
