All smiles!

  • Another school morning for Campbell but this morning I had to wake her up.  The kids moved a bit slowly but we were able to all eat breakfast before Campbell left for school.  My Whitman handed me empty bowl after empty bowl saying and signing "more"-he loves some applesauce and yogurt.
  • We told Campbell bye-my sweet Keaton really, really wants to go with Campbell each day to drop her off.  But she accepts that she can't but waits each week for Thursday when she can drop Campbell off.  Whitman and she stood in the window and watched Robby and Reagan drive off.  At one point during the day, Whitman said "Daddy?" and someone said that he was at work and Whitman fell face down to the floor-I guess he missed his Daddy.
  • School went well today-well, as in we all survived!  Right now I do feel like we are in a pretty good groove and school is going well.  Reagan, Anderson and Graham only have about 25 more lessons in their language book for the year (we do it 3 times as week) and only about 5 more weeks of spelling lessons (we will spend the rest of the year reviewing the spelling we have learned though)-it is nice to see the light at the end of the tunnel.
  • Lunch was sandwiches today-Graham opted for the delicious ones that we ate yesterday but the others only wanted sandwiches made out of leftover rolls.  Those must have been good because even Whitman ate it-he usually doesn't eat sandwiches.  Though my Keaton usually doesn't eat bread and she didn't really eat today's sandwich either.
  • After lunch, we did a few chores-putting away laundry, dusting, cleaning bathroom cabinets, refilling our toilet paper and diaper stash and picking up this place.  It didn't take long so then I made the kids practice their oral reports.  And soon after that the doorbell was ringing and Campbell was home.
  • Nonna and she had made pudding for us to enjoy so she was pleased to pass them out.   Then Campbell was ready to say her oral report to Nonna and Pops.  Of course this led to everyone spouting off their reports which led to Pops taking a little nap!  I would have napped too since I had already heard them before today so I stayed busy cutting stuff out.
  • When Nonna and Pops left, the kids started watching their movies and I walked on the treadmill.  Before I knew it, it was 5 and supper needed to be made and Whitman needed to be woken up and the house was a disaster again.  But that was fine because Robby was out late with his work people so we didn't have to be in a hurry.
  • We woke up Whitman, straightened and then had our supper while reading our book (The Ordinary Princess-so cute!)  After supper, everyone had a shower-water, water everywhere.  Whitman stayed in the shower while Anderson showered, while Reagan showered, while Graham showered and while Keaton showered.  Campbell was the only one who took a shower in the little shower.  And when it was finally time for me to get everyone out of the showers, Whitman was not going to come.  I finally had to just walk away and wait for him to come out on his own!
  • We spent the rest of the evening waiting on Robby to come home and we passed our time by playing on the wii.  Boxing was the sport of the night and my kids were so out of breath playing that little game and I think I pulled something!
  • When Robby came home, we finished our games and then it was bedtime for the crew!  Busy day tomorrow so they needed their rest.
