Summer Time Cooking!

• A little lunch and then more chores-laundry and dusting
• Making lemon bars after my nap-I kept getting into trouble for grabbing bites out of the bowl and licking my fingers! Don't worry though-we cooked all of the germs out!
• Pizza for supper and then playing outside
• Taking a bath with Anderson and then reading a book with Dad before bed

• Putting on another pretty dress and heading back to church

A Visit to the Country

We headed to the country today for a stop in Ratcliff, Arkansas. (click here for more pictures) My uncle has been living in my grandparent's house the last several years but is moving to Charleston. Mom, Dad and Donna have spent the past several days cleaning out the house and barn and had a moving sale today. I thought it would be a good chance to take Reagan and Anderson to see the place before the renter's move in. The kids enjoyed sitting on the tractors and walking up and down the driveway. We drove by the old homeplace too where Mom was born and then a brief stop at the cemetery where Granny and Papaw were buried. Then we headed home.

A Visit to Ratcliff, Arkansas!

• Taking a nap once we came home-traveling is hard, no matter how short your trip is
• Eating lots of spaghetti for supper

Doctor Visit #5

As I walked into the doctor's office this morning, I was the only one in the waiting room and was unsure if they were expecting me. I was but I think they were closing up after I left. Our visit with Dr. Phillips was short today. Everything is looking good....I weigh 1?5, blood pressure is very good (120/70 which makes Rob and my mom envious) and the baby's head is down. I will see the Dr. in 2 weeks and he will see if I am dialated. He said that if I am we may not get to go to Mississippi-but otherwise Paula Deen's buffet here I come! We are counting down the 6 weeks until baby Dennie #3 arrives.

• Overnight in Clarksville, Arkansas at the Hampton Inn (we're enroute to Ratcliff, Arkansas) for a quick visit to where Dad's grandparents lived
• Swimming and eating cookies at the hotel
• Taking a bath and going to bed (well, my bed is in the bathroom!)

Jaymie's Birthday!

Tonight we celebrated Jaymie's 34th birthday at the McGuires-it was even his actual birthday. (click here for more pictures) Todd grilled hamburgers and Amber made all of the sides and a delicious chocolate cake. The kids played very well tonight and even allowed the adults to linger at the table a little longer than usual. After Jaymie opened his gifts, Todd headed to a ballgame and the rest of us started putting pajamas on all of the kids.

• Telling Mom that I wouldn't hang on her at Kennedy's but that I would play with my friends-and I did!

• Eating lunch with Grannymom and Grandpa at Famous Dave's-they had corn, beans and cornbread!
• Taking my afternoon nap and then snack, cooking show and supper
• Begging to wear a "church dress" to church tonight
• Having a party at church tonight and eatings lots of cookies and juice
• Coming home exhausted from all of running I did after the party

• Going to Sunday School this morning and crawling out of my buggy (I got a little stuck)
• Eating lunch with Grannymom and Grandpa at Famous Daves-they have beans and cornbread!
• Taking an afternoon nap until Reagan woke me up
• Having my snack and watching a movie until supper
• Back to church and then going to a party-I had lots of cookies and punch

• Playing with Grannymom while Grandpa and Dad went shopping
• Helping Mom make lunch and playing hide n seek and with my baby doll until naptime
• Shopping at Target and eating supper at McDonalds
• Coming home to a dark house since our electricity was out and not understanding it at all!
• Taking a bath by candlelight
• Being relieved when the electricity came back on because I could wear my long pants to bed (Mom wasn't going to let me wear them if it was hot in the house)
• Asking to get up to go "potty" and then asking sweetly to play in Mom's room for a minute!
