- This morning started with me frantically making 3 breakfast casseroles-I somehow got a few minutes behind on my schedule and had to quickly dry my hair and throw on my dress.
- I still made it in time to help set things up for Kennedy's bridal brunch. The brunch turned out amazingly well. The food was all good and the decorations were beautiful. It was fun helping with lots of fun friends.
- When it was over, we went to town washing dishes and cleaning up. It did get a little warm cleaning up, but I rewarded myself with a Sonic drink on the way home.
- Once I made it home, Campbell and Graham were at work, but Keaton chatted with me in the kitchen while I unloaded everything and straightened the house some. It didn't take too long to reset a few things.
- Robby came home, and we ended up back at Top Golf with Keaton and Whitman. While we golfed, which I did win most of the games we played, I worked on a letter for Reagan and worked on my list for next week. I always feel like I can think better once I have written things down.
- Graham went to house sit today, and this afternoon, Anderson spent some time working out. Keaton and Campbell went to babysit tonight, and Robby and I left next. We met up with some friend's to celebrate Tony's birthday. We ate habachi, and then came back to Shannon's house for cake.
- The boys met up to play volletball and now they are at Sonic. Robby and I just sat down on the couch and possibly we should go to bed and possibly we will watch a show.

May 14, 2026
- Campbell and Keaton started the morning off with their last day at Mother's Day Out. They ended up coming home with quite a few gifts from their little students. Robby and I left fairly early too this morning.
- We went to get my wedding ring resized. I haven't been able to wear it in over a decade, and just fyi-getting my ring resized cost over 10 times what Robby thought it would! We then ran a few errands before my picking up something from Grannymom's house and dropping something off at Grannymom's house. Then we came home for just a few minutes.
- Whitman and I left with Marley this time for a vet appointment. She has a sore on her paw that just isn't getting any better. The vet gave her some medicine which seems to have caused her to start pottying in the house again! It's 14 day medicine-eeek!
- As soon as we made it home, we all left to meet up with the girls at Top Golf. The kids played a few rounds of golf there, but I left early to go and help with some flowers and then prep for a bridal brunch.
- I was gone all evening, but the big boys went to work out when they made it home. Keaton and Whitman made a recipe from a cookbook Whitman has, and then later Campbell made cookies. Robby cooked up breakfast burritos and about 8 pounds of sausage.
- He was still working on that when I came in tonight. I helped him clean up and now it's my bedtime.
May 13, 2026
- Campbell was the first one awake this morning. She had spent the night at a friend's house, and they all still had school so she came home when they left for school. On her way home, she took care of her chickens and then quietly came into the house.
- I was the only other one awake when she came in. The house was super quiet most of the morning long. Other than Campbell I didn't see anyone for quite a long time. Anderson did find out that he didn't get the job that he interviewed for, so he will have to pivot to plan b-first he has to figure out what plan b is.
- I did some more work on the school room-tomorrow I prep for paint. Now, I haven't bought the paint yet, but we are getting there slowly but surely. The day went by pretty quickly. I was going to lay down on the couch for a little bit while Graham and Campbell were at work, but Keaton asked to play a game.
- Anderson, Whitman, Keaton, and I played Coop. Then I made a breakfast casserole-I have to make a few on Friday and was sampling it tonight. Plus Graham has really wanted to have roasted potatoes and ground beef for supper.
- The roasted potatoes were easy since they were from a bag. And the ground beef was easy too-I just browned it. Just eating ground beef is not for me, but Anderson and Graham dug in. Keaton asked them if they were trying to bulk up.
- Tonight we all had a Camp Geyer meeting. Afterwards, Graham rode with someone to meet some friends to play volleyball. Anderson met him there, and Campbell went to a friend's house for a party-I think that people were bringing their school work to burn. Unfortunately for Campbell, I had already gotten rid of all of her school work so she had nothing to burn.
- Whitman, Keaton, and I came home where Whitman cooked himself a pizza, and Keaton had cheese dip. I'm not too sure what I'll eat for supper though-maybe I'll just get myself some hot chocolate.
May 12, 2026
- This was a big day-Reagan was up fairly early. She said that she was completely packed, but I think that she might have been adding more things to her bags. She left around 12:30 and stopped to get gas with Robby before leaving town.
- We know that we will see her near the end of June, but we aren't really sure if we will see her again before then or how much we will hear from her. She did text when she made it and said that she was in a long line of cars waiting to possibly get her cabin.
- These next two weeks are orientation-it looks like on the schedule that she is about to do some of her certification classes. The girl is getting certified to be a life guard-that will be a good skill to have, but it might be hard to complete.
- I know that she will have a great time, but I'll be a little anxious until we hear that she is loving it. The website says that there will be 7,000 kids at the camp this year, so I know that she is going to be exhausted when this summer is over!
- Anderson was supposed to hear from his job interview today, but of course that hasn't happened yet. We did get the kids' grades today-one probably needs to have more fun and study less and one probably needs to study more and have less fun.
- Campbell went to a friend's house tonight and even stopped to get a drink on the way and then went with the girls to get snow cones. She is living it up. Keaton and I went to a graduation party really quickly tonight before running into Walmart to pick up a few things.
- Graham also left tonight to go and play pickleball. I think he is playing pickleball; it may be volleyball. Who knows. Anderson didn't go with him tonight, but he did go and work out with a friend this afternoon. It's been a busy day around here, but it seems that all summer long will be some busy days.
May 11, 2026
- I guess that we could say that today was the first day of summer break. Unfortunately, it didn't take too long for me to realize that my list is too long. Even without school, I can barely finish everything by lunch....possibly I should wake up a little bit earlier, but it is nice to sleep in.
- I will get it all figured out this summer though because I want to have time for some fun things-like painting the school room, finishing my crochet blanket and starting on another one, organizing my recipes, and reading a few books (I haven't read a book book this year.)
- Reagan spent most of the day packing-she has packed, unpacked, and repacked. There was some drama when she could not find a new pair of shorts. She had looked everywhere, and I even looked everywhere-even had Shannon check her laundry basket. I eventually found them in Graham's drawers. I guess the laundry folder put them in the wrong pile. She should be fired!
- Campbell and Graham went to work this afternoon, and Anderson didn't leave until later, but he went to work out with a friend this afternoon.
- Whitman, Keaton, and I went to the foodbank this afternoon. We met up with some friends there, and I am always so proud of my kids and this group when we go. I've done things with lots of homeschool kids, and some times I am a little disappointed in how they have acted-not so with this crew.
- Our group worked so hard the entire time. Our task today was taking huge boxes of cereal and repacking it into 1 pound bags. The bags had to be weighed, measured, and sealed before be counted and put into a box. We packed over 400 pounds of cereal-just our little group. It was lots of fun-so we celebrated with some Sonic on the way home.
- Robby and I ran some errands tonight and picked up supper. Everyone was home to eat except for Graham who went to play volleyball with his friends. While he was gone, Anderson started the fire pit for Campbell and Keaton. All of the kids enjoyed some time in around the fire pit. I was able to sit near it just long enough for my hair to smell wonderfully smokey!
May 10, 2026
- Robby left before I crawled out of bed this morning. He ran to let Dana's dogs out this morning. I took my shower and then came to the kitchen. The kids had me a frame with their pictures in it along with cards for everyone, and Robby had a note and a few candles so that was a good start to this Mother's Day.
- I made sure that Campbell was awake because she had to leave early for her chicken duty. Keaton rode with her so they could both get there early. I quickly took my shower and woke up the boys so they could get ready.
- We all squeezed in Reagan's car on the way to church-plus we had flowers for Nonna, a case of gatorade and a tray of breakfast things for Graham's Sunday school class, and cookies for Whitman's Sunday school class. It was a full car.
- It was nice having the row full of all of the kids today during big church. When church was over, we met back up at Nonna and Pops's house for Sunday lunch. She had spaghetti and all of the fixings. We ate and then visited for a little bit. Keaton and Reagan left a bit before everyone else because Reagan needed to go shopping for some things for camp.
- The rest of us came home-Robby started mowing, and his lawnmower belt broke. This has happened before; however, that means we have to push the lawnmower back to the garage. It is heavy and of course, it was at the bottom of the yard so we had to go up.
- I do keep saying "We," and I did help. However, I didn't help much. I just had to pull one bolt as the pushed to disengage something or another. I tried to help some, but this mostly just involved me trying to keep up with Anderson and Robby as they pushed the lawnmower while holding the bolt at an awkward angle (Graham would have helped too, but he was sleeping soundly.
- After this, I put Marley to bed and took my nap-and it was wonderful! Absolutely wonderful! We then left to go to the Wilson's house for supper. Anderson and Graham stayed for only about 10 minutes, but they were there long enough to have some spaghetti (notice a theme).
- The rest of us stayed for a while before heading home. Campbell went to meet her friends for ice cream so Reagan drove me to put up Campbell's chickens-again, I have reaffirmed to myself that I do not ever want chickens!
May 9, 2026
- This morning was early for everyone-I left first at 7 with Keaton and Campbell. We stopped first so Campbell could take cake of her chickens that she is chicken sitting this week. Then we had to run to the gas station before we went to Raymar.
- Reagan and Lena left next to go to Arkadelphia for graduation. They also left at 7. Reagan said that they were not planning on getting a seat and even took a blanket to sit on. They were close, but they were also behind some bushes. She did say that when she graduates, we will need to get there by 6 to get chairs in the shade.
- Graham left next to join us at Raymar so he could ref the 8'o'clock game. Robby and Whitman left after that so they could go and let Dana's dogs out. Whitman just stayed at Dana's all day long and watched her puppies.
- Reagan and Anderson were both very productive when they were home today. Anderson unpacked all of his clothes plus he went through clothes that were here and cleaned all his drawers. Reagan went through everything that she brought home, and then she has now pretty much packed up for camp.
- We all trickled back home at different times, and now most everyone has left again. Robby came home for a few minutes, and then left again to run a few more errands and pick up Whitman. Graham and Anderson left after supper to play pickleball.
- Campbell also left after supper to play pickleball, but first she had to put her chickens up. It was a bit too early, and they were not ready to go in the coop, so Keaton and I ran to do that. I used to think that I wanted chickens, but I do not at all.
May 8, 2026
- Today was a fun day. Robby and I left around 8 to slowly make our way to Arkadelphia. We stopped a few times to do a few shops. We had taken one extra row of seats out of the white van and hoped that would be enough.
- Just like last year, moving out was super easy. We met Anderson first, and he had his few things sitting outside his door. It was two trips for us, but we had a great parking spot so it wasn't bad.
- Then we moved on to Reagan's room. We made a few trips to her room, and Anderson made it over to help us just in time to bring the fridge down. She had her things sitting outside her doorway too ready to go.
- However, her car was also loaded down, and since she was going to stay in Arkadelphia today for a graduation party, she wanted for her people to be able to ride with her. So we unloaded her car into the van which just about filled it up. My kids must be good packers, but this is the second time Reagan's car load of stuff has filled up the white van!
- We made it home, and Anderson dutifully helped us unload the white van. He had already unloaded his car and moved a desk to the driveway. Then he helped move the desk into someone's car when they came to pick it up (that did make me feel good-I was able to get something out of the house even though Reagan and Anderson were bringing a lot of things into the house.)
- I can't really believe that Reagan has finished her second year of college and is half way done, and Anderson has already finished his first year. The bonus room is pretty full-they each have a corner, and Graham is starting to add things to his corner for school too.
- I picked Keaton up from work and took her to party. While she was there, I ran to Walmart before picking up Keaton and taking her to a friend's house. Now, someone will have to bring her home at some point tonight.
- Robby is out running errands, Graham and Anderson are playing volleyball, and Campbell just got back from feeding her chickens. It has been a busy evening so far, and I just want to sit on the couch!
May 7, 2026
- This morning I woke up at 6 to go to the bathroom, and I was almost giddy that I still had quite a bit of time to sleep. When Robby's alarm went off at 6:20 this morning, I had already gone back to sleep and was again pleased that I had still plenty of time to sleep.
- When I did wake up, I made sure that the girls were awake and getting ready for work. They soon left, and then I spent the next hour almost trying to wake up Graham and Whitman. I did get Whitman to wake up, but he ended up back asleep on my bedroom couch.
- This was officially the last day of school around here-Whitman finished his things, but Graham still is working on his Spanish project. He should finish tomorrow but has until Sunday to finish. I tried to put a few school things up and a few school things on ebay today.
- My original goal was to paint the school room the week after school ended. I might get motivated, but I really need to get rid of my big desk first. Plus painting always overwhelms me. I will definitely get it done, but it might take a few weeks-hopefully not though.
- Robby and I ran a few errands this afternoon, and I was able to mark something off of my list-getting Graham's name on his Bible. Overall, this week's list is getting pretty empty which is certainly not my norm. I should be doing something productive now, but this couch is so comfy.
May 6, 2026
- Since Keaton and Campbell were not here last night, Bentley wasn't too sure of what to do. She started in the boys room but then went looking for the girls in their room. She made it downstairs before the boys realized.
- I put her in our room where she slept in the closet floor until the thunder started. She then wanted me to open the bedroom door and let her out. She liked to go to the girls' room when it is stormy-I think because they have so many fans she can't hear the thunder maybe)
- I then put her in bed with us where she stayed until almost morning when she went to our couch. Bentley will be happy to see those girls when they get home. They are still doing their babysitting gig, and they are still loving every minute of it! They took those girls to church tonight and ChickFIlA.
- That just left Whitman and Graham home this morning for school. I let them both sleep in a little bit, but then they had to get to work. Graham still has a Spanish presentation to finish or possibly start. In Arkadelphia, Anderson finished his first year of college with his last test at 8 this morning. He is staying until Friday when we come to pack him and Reagan up.
- I ran a few errands today-once to bring Campbell home so she could ride with Graham to work. Then she drove back to her gig in the white car. I also went to do a little bit of wedding bridal brunch prep with a friend.
- Then before too long it was time to go to church for the last Wednesday night. I will kind of miss it because I enjoy the social time-and I enjoy the reason to have to easily stop at the library every week to pick up books.
May 5, 2026
- Campbell was probably surprised this morning when she asked if today could be her last day of school. She and Keaton are babysitting all night tonight and all day tomorrow, and they could have taken their school. However, this is the last week so I maybe a little too quickly said that this could be their last day. I made them finish a few extra things, but they were still pretty pleased with me.
- Graham finished one of his classes today so he just has a Spanish presentation to do before he is officially finished with high school. Whitman may not be as happy with me because he still has two more days of school. He is actually find with that though because all he has left is a lot of reading which he enjoys.
- Robby and I celebrated Cinco de Mayo this afternoon with lunch out at Cantina Laredo. The food was fine, but the cheese dip and apple pie dessert was excellent. And tonight for supper, I made tacos for everyone that was here.
- This afternoon I did a few things around the house, and then we took the girls to their babysitting gig. We picked up a tv stand from a friend so we ended up doing some rearranging in the bonus room since we are getting ready to squeeze all of the college things upstairs.
May 4, 2026
- I slept in as last as I could this morning before getting up to start school. No one complained too much, but I'm ready for a few days off from school plus I'm excited about all of next year's activities.
- Keaton, Whitman, and I worked together this morning, but we finished our constitution curriculum today so this will be our last work together day. I wonder if that means that we can start school a little bit late the next few days?
- Keaton joined Campbell and Graham this afternoon at work. Keaton can not go on Wednesday, but she will go on Friday plus she received her first paycheck in the mail today.
- While they were gone to work, I ran a few errands with Robby. I bought some things for Graham's dorm room plus I checked on some picture frame for a bridal lunch I'm helping with. I needed 30, but even after looking at a few today, I ended up buying them online.
- The kids came home from work, and I made pancakes for supper. Campbell and Robby went to eat wings while I tried to work on a few things in the house. When Robby made it home, we ran to the WIlson's house for a few minutes, and now I've had my hot chocolate, and we are watching a show.
May 3, 2026
- This was Senior Sunday at church which means that Graham and the rest of the seniors walked across the stage wearing their robes. There was even a video that the seniors had made thanking the church. I think that Graham had fun today.
- Keaton took Graham's extra cupcakes from last night to her Sunday school class, so I bet that her class had fun today as well. After church, we went to Grannymom's house for Sunday lunch. She had soup which was excellent because I had been freezing all day long.
- After lunch, Robby and I ran some errands this afternoon. We made a little bit of money and didn't spend any-though there are a few things on my list to buy early this week.
- While we were gone, Campbell and Keaton left to water the plants that they are taking care of. Then they also went to another church to keep kids there-they went from one job to another job.
- When we made it home, Graham left to go and play pickleball with his buddies. Campbell dropped off Keaton and left again to go to Adi's house to watch a movie. Last night I tried to stay awake until Campbell and Graham came in, but I fell asleep before either one of them made it home-so hopefully I will do better tonight.
May 2, 2026
- We were up until after 1 last night talking to Anderson. When Keaton, Campbell, and Graham came in from their evening outing, they added to the conversation so it was a fairly lively evening. I think that there were be quite a few more late nights like this coming up this summer.
- Keaton, Campbell, and I left around 7:20 this morning to drop Campbell off to help a friend with a garage sale. Then Keaton and I met Whitman and Graham at Raymar. Graham reffed two games while Keaton and Whitman worked in the concession stand.
- Then Keaton reffed three games, and Campbell eventually showed up to work a bit in the concession stand too. It was an odd weather day-it was cold, it was hot, it was sunny, it was cloudy, it was windy, it was not. I had on a sweatshirt, then a long sleeve shirt, then a tshirt, then a jacket and ended up taking my jacket off and on all afternoon.
- We came home, and I laid down on the couch for a little bit. Then it was time to get ready for Graham's Senior banquet at church. Reagan drove up, and Grannymom, Nonna, and Pops were all there. The food was pasta and cheesecake tonight, and it was very good. All of the seniors received a super nice Bible.
- After the banquet was over, Reagan emptied the contents of her car to our big white van-I'm not sure how, but she practically filled up the white van. Then Campbell took on care to go and play pickleball while Graham took another to go and play volleyball-they were actually going to the same place, but sharing a car would have made too much sense.
- Robby and I dropped off Keaton and Whitman at home, and then we took some banquet leftovers to the Wilsons. Then we hauled Reagan's things up to the bonus room. It is already filling up, but we still have a lot to add up there.
May 1, 2026
- Robby and I slept as long as we could this morning-we were both kind of stirring at our normal time, but since Marley was sleeping and since Friday is really our Saturday, we just stayed in the bed.
- The garage door man was here fairly early-he was able to fix the garage door and even fixed the something extra on the garage door so Robby was super pleased. Robby then left to run some errands, but he wasn't the first one in the house to leave,
- Campbell was awake and left before Robby and I did get out of bed. Last night Keaton did some work on Campbell's hair, and it turned a pretty bright yellow. Even though we had shipped something to help, it wasn't here yet so she went to the store.
- At her second store she found what a substitute product and came home to use it. Her hair then was pretty much back to normal, but she also used the product that came in so now her hair is really back to normal. It was a fun experience.
- Keaton, Campbell, and Graham all went to work this afternoon-this might be Keaton's last time at work since they just asked her to work the last two weeks, but they did send home all of the work employment papers so who knows.
- Robby and I ran some more errands this afternoon, and then we hurried home to change clothes. Then I picked up Shannon while Robby showered, and then we picked him up. Shannon was able to hook us up to work the doors for the Charity Gail concert. We let in the crowds, and then we were able to see the whole concert.
- While we were gone, Keaton and Campbell picked up a few friends and ran some errands. They came back here for a bit before leaving to play pickleball. They were gone until late, but Anderson came home for the weekend for the senior banquet tomorrow and to bring a load of things home from his dorm room.
- We were able to catch up quite a bit with Anderson, and we stayed up way too late chatting especially since we have to leave the house early in the morning!
April 30, 2026
- Keaton and Campbell went to work this morning. A few Thursdays ago, I let them oversleep (though I am not the one who usually wakes them up since they do that by their selves.) Since then, I have been a bit paranoid about them not sleeping in, and I don't know when they are supposed to wake up either, but they were already stirring this morning.
- I let Whitman sleep in a few minutes longer, but then we did some work together. He didn't have a whole lot of work to do today, so he played his new board game in the middle of the school morning. It is a single player game so I haven't played it.
- Graham ran quite a bit today-over 6 miles. Plus he started studying for his one final. I left around 2 to go and set his senior table up at church. Campbell and Keaton helped me, and I will say that Graham's table looked better than any of the other ones there...I was the first one to decorate my table so the odds were pretty high that ours would be the best at least right now.
- I then ran a few errands with Robby while Campbell and Keaton ran a few errands too. We came home for a bit, then we left again. This time our errand running was more productive plus we picked up supper for everyone-it was pretty late when we made it home but better late than never!
April 29, 2026
- Another busy day around here. We started off with some reading this morning. I realized that we are really going to finish most things before school is over next week, and that makes me super happy. Our work load is getting a little lighter every day so school is taking less time each day too-except for Graham because he still has a project and a test left to do next week.
- I had to leave for lunch out again today, so I had to fly through all of my extra work with everyone. I did hit the highlights so that was good.
- I met some girls from my Sunday school class, and we went to first. Then, we went to Goodness Village and gave a little gift card and gift to a few of the residents. Goodness Village is low cost apartments that people can stay in while they are receiving medical treatment. We have done things for this organization a few times, so it was neat to see it.
- I hurried home afterwards so I could do a few things around the house and do science with Whitman. Graham, Campbell, and Keaton were at work this afternoon, but when they came home, we all left again for church.
- We had baked potatoes and salad for our meal at church tonight for the workers. It was a busy night, but when it was over, Robby picked me up so Campbell could go one way and Graham could go another way. Then we went to the Wilson's house for a few minutes before coming home to settle on the couch.
April 28, 2026
- Keaton and Campbell left around 10ish this morning and go and babysit. They were able to get quite a bit of their school work finished before leaving, but Keaton and I weren't able to finish her math. We will have to do that tomorrow which will be another short day for her-and me.
- Since the weather was a little bit stormy, I reminded them that if the sirens did go off to just go to the bathroom with some books and snacks and make it fun, not scary. Thankfully, they didn't have to worry about that though.
- Whitman did some of his school work last night which was incredibly nice. We were able to zoom through his work, and just left his science activity to do this afternoon. We built a beam bridge in his science yesterday, and today we turned it into a truss bridge. We have used so much hot glue in his science curriculum-probably we have used more hot glue than I have ever used before in my life.
- I left at noon to go and have lunch with some friends. (I have lunch out tomorrow too.) We visited for a while, and then when we left, I could tell that the storm was coming. However, I had two errands to run-first to Walmart. I was in and out pretty quickly with it just starting to rain as I left.
- Then I debated stopping at Academy, but I was so close even though it just about to pour. By the time that I was leaving, it was pouring! I was drenched and it was crazy raining. However, I was kind of fine with it-I drove slowly home and was able to listen to my book longer...except some times the rain was so heavy I couldn't hear my book.
- Once I made it home, I unpacked my things and then worked with Whitman for a little bit on our bridge building. It wasn't too long before Keaton and Campbell came home. Graham had already run quite a bit this morning, but he played basketball for a long time tonight too. And the whole time he was playing, Campbell was trying to get a group together to go and eat. She did leave for a minute and made it down the road until her friend let her know that she couldn't come.
- Robby and I are now on the couch watching tv-and I'm trying to decide if I would like to have some ice cream or if I would like to have some hot chocolate.
April 27, 2026
- For a Monday, this was a wonderful Monday-I didn't leave the house at all. I like leaving, but I sure do like staying too. I was busy all the day long though. We started off with school this morning-the girls are going to babysit tomorrow so they really should have done some extra school work, but that didn't happen.
- I was able to get a few things ready for Graham's senior table at the banquet on Saturday night. It took me a good while to find all the pictures I wanted. However, I was able to mark that off my list along with washing Anderson's sheets and washing all the towels.
- Keaton went to work with Campbell and Graham again today. I think that she was able to help more today. She will also go back Wednesday and Friday, and hopefully they will need her some more.
- While they were all gone this afternoon, I walked, text with Reagan, and worked with Whitman. The afternoon really did fly by, and I had just finished my crocheting for the day when the kids came home from work.
- Robby was home a bit later, but when he came home we heated up an empanada and ate some chips and salsa along with it. Now, we are on the couch watching some tv before bed.
April 26, 2026
- We were all moving a little slow this morning since we were up late last night, but we all made it to church on time. Keaton drove Campbell and me to church since I had to be there early for worship care.
- There were a lot of little babies in worship care, so we were pretty busy. I met up with Robby after church for Sunday school, and then most of us headed to Nonna and Pops' house.
- Keaton went with the Crafts to watch Maia play soccer. Then they hung out until life group, so she was gone all afternoon long.
- The rest of us ate, and then Graham headed to do some dog sitting just for the day. He stayed at the house until he went to play pickleball with some friends.
- Campbell had some friends come to the house, and then they went to paint pottery. Of course that led to some shopping and eating out. She had a fun evening and made it home before us.
- After our nap this afternoon, we took Whitman to his lifegroup, and then we went to Raymar to eat with our Sunday school class. We stayed and visited for a long while and then picked Keaton up on the way home. It was a busy day, but there was a nap and a tv show watched so I can't complain at all.
April 25, 2026
- It was an early morning for all of us. Campbell had spent the night with friends, and then she met up with more friends to go to the heartwalk with Brooklyn. They started the morning off with 7 Brew and ChickFilA.
- Keaton and Whitman left with me at 7:20 so we could make it to Raymar. Graham left a few minutes behind us so he could ref the first game-only to find out when he got there that there were no teams to ref the first hour. Thankfully, the schedule was correct on his second game, and he was able to ref.
- Keaton and Whitman started in the concession stand, and then Keaton moved on to refereeing the last 3 games after the boys went home. Graham worked on getting ready for his big prom evening.
- Campbell came home next, and then Keaton and I made it home. Robby and I went to work on making a dessert for the Wilsons and for tomorrow's Sunday school party. Then we made supper which Keaton cooked while Robby and I ran a few errands to pick up a few things.
- Once we came home, we left again to the Wilson's house to take then some food. We stayed for a minute, and then came home. By this time Campbell had already left again for her evening activities. I have just been sitting on the couch for about 9 minutes, and I can barely keep my eyes open!
April 24, 2026
- As soon as I woke up and did my laundry and dishes, I left to go and sit with Shannon for a little while. Tony had his knee done so she needed some company this morning while she waited on him. I'm sure I was entertaining for people to watch coming into the hospital-I had a bag of snacks, a drink for Shannon, a drink for me, and my umbrella. Our drinks seemed extra slippery, and then wind was trying its best to knock things out of my hands.
- I stayed for a while and then ran to Trader's Joes to buy some flowers and then made a stop to Lowes. At Trader Joes I was not the only one buying flowers-there were so many prom moms buying flowers that I was about to have to throw some elbows.
- Once I made it home, Graham, Campbell, and Keaton left soon afterwards for work. This was Keaton's first day to help at the office this year, and unfortunately she didn't have much to do, but I think that she still enjoyed it or at least she will enjoy her paycheck.
- I had to wake Whitman up this afternoon. Even though he didn't stay up too crazy late, he was still catching up on his rest which is a good thing because tomorrow will be an early morning. I then left to go to Dana's house so she could make a bouquet for me. It took her no time at all to make a beautiful bouquet, and we even had extra flowers which I took to Grannymom.
- When Keaton and Graham got home from work, they ran a few errands looking for a hacky sack. Bless them-they weren't able to find one but came home and order one. When they came home, Campbell left to go and eat supper with some friends, and she came home and left again to go and spend the night at a friend's house. She is safely there so I can stop tracking her because of course she left just as a thunderstorm rolled through again tonight.
April 23, 2026
- The girls usually wake up on their own on Thursday mornings, but last Thursday they didn't. I wasn't sure when they were to wake up, so I let them sleep longer than I should. This morning, I was on top of it and even text to make sure they were awake way too early, but they were already getting ready.
- I woke Whitman, and we read together. When we finished, I moved on to the kitchen only to discover that he had gone back to sleep right where I left him. Not only was Whitman having problems staying awake, but so was Graham-it took him a good while to get up this morning.
- Eventually, the boys were awake and working on school. I spent a good bit of time addressing Graham's graduation invitations. He even has had things arrive for his dorm room the past two days-I don't like it one bit.
- Bentley had just finished her walk today, and as we walked by the side of the house I noticed a snake-a big black snake. I think that it was probably 4 feet long. I text Robby to ask if I should kill it or act like I didn't see it. He suggested getting Graham, but since I knew he was in the shower, I found a shovel.
- Now, by the time I got back with the shovel, the snake had moved to the front flower beds. When I stabbed at him there, it just slithered faster until he got in front of the front door. I was convinced that Graham was going to hear me and open the door. It took about 8 stabs and a few squeals from me until the snake finally stopped moving. I then had to ask/beg Graham to take it to the woods-you would thought I was asking him to move it with his hands and not a shovel.
- The girls came home and then left again to babysit. This is friend of mine that they were babysitting tonight for. Robby and I ran some errands, and just as we made it home with the pizza, Graham got an invite to play pickleball so off he went.
- I made cookies for Reagan's goody box tonight, and then wrapped them up. Now, Robby and I are watching a show before we head to bed.
April 22, 2026
- I was able to wake up a few minutes earlier today which did help me a good bit. I folded the laundry, emptied the dishwasher, brushed the dogs' teeth, straightened the house quickly, and brushed the dogs before it was time to work with Keaton and Whitman so I felt pretty good.
- We worked together, and then it was time for them to start on their school work. I had encouraged Whitman to not take any breaks today since we had to leave early, and I guess that he didn't because he finished before lunch. We didn't end up working together because there just wasn't time, but overall, I was glad that he did finish at a decent time-it is good to know that it can be done.
- Campbell and Graham left first to go to work for the afternoon. They had thought that their checks were wrong the other day when they came in the mail, but they found out today that they got a bonus so they were super pleased.
- Whitman, Keaton, and I left next. We met up with some friends at the foodbank to work a shift. We had a fun job this afternoon. We were packing boxes for elderly people, and there was a conveyor belt. We each had an item to put into the box as it went past us-it was difficult keeping up with putting your things in the box while trying to open up the boxes so you could be ready with your items. We stayed so busy-there were 3 adults and 10 kids in our group, and those kids all worked so hard the entire time.
- Poor Whitman-he was at the end so he had two things that he had to put into the boxes. At times I was struggling to just get my one thing in the box, and he had two things to take care of. After we finished at the foodbank, we had a car full of 3 extra girls and stopped at Sonic and then ChickFilA on the way to church.
- The girls were happy to be at church early, but Whitman and I just stayed in the car. He played on his ipad while I napped! I made sure that he woke me up in time for church. After church, Whitman and I headed home while the others went to ChickFIlA. (We have chosen to give them all of our money today.)
- Robby and I ate some butter chicken for supper, and now we are sitting on the couch watching a show. I have to do get Campbell's school work out for next week tonight, but after that I don't have anything else to do.
April 21, 2026
- I have been waking up lately each morning around 6. I need to go to the bathroom each morning around then, but if I get out of the bed when it is the least bit light outside, I seem to wake up Marley. Today though I couldn't go back to sleep so I had to lightly climb out of the bed and tiptoe to the bathroom. Thankfully, I didn't wake the dog...meanwhile, Bentley will ask to go downstairs sometimes early in the morning, but we never usually hear from her, and some days she doesn't even want to go outside until after 9.
- We did the school thing this morning, but I did feel sorry for Whitman because his braces really bothered him this morning. He did say later in the day that his teeth were feeling better. At least I kept him busy with school work.
- Keaton and I ran to the vet to pick up a pill for Marley tomorrow, and then I went to Michaels to buy some yarn and ribbon. The nice check out lady was determined for me to find a coupon, and thankfully I was able to after a while. I'm just glad that there was not a line behind me.
- We came home, and I took a quick walk before Whitman and I finished his school work. Then this evening, I rode with Robby for a bit while he ran a few errands. It was kind of slow out so we stopped at David's Burgers for a bite to eat.
- While we were gone, Campbell went out to eat, did some shopping, and went to a friend's house for a bit. Tomorrow is work for some, foodbank volunteering for others, and church for all so it will be a busy afternoon.
April 20, 2026
- Usually in the mornings, Robby takes his shower while I'm reading to Keaton and Whitman, and he traps Marley in the bathroom with him. Today, Robby showered earlier in the morning which meant that Marley stayed with us while I tried to read.
- She was good for about 5 minutes, and then the next 2 minutes she would attempt to bite my watch off of my arm. Then we were start the process over again-good dog and crazy dog. I managed fairly well for a while-then I just finished early and called our reading time over.
- The kids then started on their school work. There aren't many weeks left of school, and I'm trying to cram everything that I can in these next few weeks, but I'm balancing with that with we are all just tired and need a break.
- Campbell and Graham went to work this afternoon. Graham went to help set up some things so he was gone most of the time, while Campbell was busy working. And this was a big day for Whitman-he got his braces.
- I didn't think that he would get braces at this appointment, but I was wrong. We were there for a super long time, so I knew it must be happening today. He looks super cute with them, plus they are not yet bothering him.
- While we were there, Reagan was busy working on her summer plans-her original plans have fallen through so she is scrambling. I think that she will be fine without working too much, but I know that she really wanted to work at a camp this summer so we shall see where she ends up.
- On the way home, Whitman and I stopped at Sonic which took forever. Then we made chicken and rice bowls for supper-it was a super easy meal which we ate most of. Now Robby and I are sitting on the couch watching some tv-we are actually binge watching a show so we shall see how late we actually stay up though my eyes have kind of been closing a little bit.
April 19, 2026
- This morning the girls were off to church first because Campbell had worship care. The rest of us arrived next. Church was normal this morning, though Campbell had to leave Sunday school early because she had to babysit at 12.
- After church we headed to Grannymom's house to eat lunch and had baked spaghetti. After visiting for a bit, we headed home. Right after we got home Graham, Keaton, and Whitman headed to Collide Night. They did have to pick up the people from different houses on the way.
- This afternoon Robby changed the oil on the camper and camper generator. While he was working outside, I was working on my list for the week and addressing invitations (for a bridal brunch I'm helping throw; graduation invites are coming soon though.)
- When Campbell made it home from babysitting, she headed to Rock Creek for church. By this time the others were heading home. Graham left soon after getting home so he could go to volleyball with his buddies.
- The rest of us headed to the Wilsons' house for supper. We were there for a while before heading home to start the saddest part of the week-Monday!
April 18, 2026
- It was an early morning for all of us here. I was the first one awake and had my shower before everyone else stirred. Graham, Robby, and I left first to head to Ouachita for Graham's early registration.
- Keaton, Campbell, and Whitman left next for Raymar. Today was the second week of games. I didn't know that the games started at 8 this week, but the girls and Whitman arrived right at 8 so it was all good.
- Campbell and Whitman each worked the concession stand for 2 hours, and Keaton worked for one hour. She also reffed 3 games today, and I think that the weather was pretty rainy messy all the day long. When Campbell and Whitman finished, they headed home for a little bit.
- On our way to Arkadelphia, we stopped at McDonalds for a little breakfast. When we made it, there was an opening program which we did miss a few minutes of because we were in a long line to check in.
- Then Graham went to register while Robby and I went to a short reception. Then Robby and I were supposed to go to a meeting, but we skipped. I never was one to skip classes or really anything, but this is our second year to skip the parent meeting (we went the first year.)
- Then we caught up with Reagan in the cafeteria. I had some hot chocolate while we waited on Graham. Before he showed up though, Anderson met us for a bit. When Graham did arrive, Robby and I ate with him.
- After our lunch, we went to look at the boys' dorm rooms. Then we also went to see Anderson's room and take a few notes on what I need to be buying for Graham. Back in Bryant, we met Campbell to get gas for the cars, and she and Robby went to eat a late lunch.
- Graham and I went to pick up Keaton. When we came home, I think that we all took naps. Keaton and my naps were pretty short while Graham slept for 4 hours. I started work on tonight's food-Reagan and a few of her friend's came over after their formal. We offered up a brownie bar and had brownies, ice cream, and all of the toppings.
- Campbell and Keaton were babysitting so they missed out on some of the fun, but the Wilsons came over to help eat some of our brownie bar.
April 17, 2026
- Yesterday was school room closet day, and today was put together day and crochet day. First I moved furniture around in the school room so I would have room to put the shelf and desk together.
- Then I put the shelf together-it is super nice, and it was super easy to put together. Then I worked on my blanket project. I had all of the loose squares on the kitchen table, so I felt like I needed to finish sewing them together.
- I was not going to put the desk together, but Robby convinced me that I should. I have already filled up the trash can with all kinds of trash bags and box trash, so why not just completely fill it up. The desk was a whole lot harder to put together. It took a while, but I finally got it.
- So now, two sides of the room are cleared and decent looking while the other sides of the room are crammed full of things which hopefully will soon be moving out.
- I still have to paint plus buy a rug. Robby even suggested that we think about trying to put hard wood down in the school room. I'm not sure we can do that, but possibly we can some day soon. The painting doesn't begin until after school is done for the year-so in just a few more weeks.
- Campbell and Graham went to work this afternoon while Whitman slept most of the afternoon. Keaton rode her bike some while bringing Graham water during his morning run, and she even laid out some this afternoon.
- Tonight, Campbell went to a party while Graham went to play volleyball. We took the mini van so he had to drive the big van to come and switch with us. He said that it was massive, and I bet he will do all he can to not have to drive it again.
April 16, 2026
- This should have been a busy school day, but I was a bit distracted by cleaning out my school room closest. I took pictures, but I will wait to show you until that room is finished. It took me most of the day long.
- First I emptied the closet except for our school books. Then I started putting things back in the closet-I threw away about 4 bags of trash and moved things to other parts of the house. It is much neater, but it is still just as full.
- Whitman did do most of his school, but I was not a good checker today. I just handed him his math book this afternoon and told him to check it himself. Graham also had some school. He did some and then took a run.
- After his run, we ran over to Nonna and Pops' house for him to help Pops' with his mulch. Campbell and Keaton were at Mother's Day Out working. They came home a bit after we came home.
- Then Graham, Campbell, and I left again. They went to Raymar to work again tonight while I met up with Robby at Walmart. We ran some errands, and then brought pizza home.
- Everyone soon arrived except for Keaton who went to a concert tonight. I'm sure that she is going to have a late night-which means that I'm going to have a late night too because I'll have to pick her up later!
April 15, 2026
- There were no scones this morning, but Whitman and Keaton still stayed awake while I was reading to them. We are really trying to finish up one last thing to read together each morning. I did explain that if we didn't finish it, then we would do it this summer. Whitman could care less, but Keaton was not pleased with this.
- Campbell and Keaton only really have 9 more days of school this year. They have to fit 12 days of school into those 9, but their minds are already on summer vacation. I am trying to start reminding everyone that there will still be some work to do each day this summer. (This is when I can get them to finish things and get a little bit ahead.)
- Campbell and Graham went to work early so they could be home in time for church. We all ran by Nonna and Pops' house on the way to church. After visiting for a bit, I glanced down at my watch and saw that it was already time for us to leave.
- We hurried on to church, and afterwards, Campbell and Graham went to ChickFilA. The rest of us had free fries so we stopped by there on the way home too. Whitman even had a free birthday ice cream-that boy loves him some ice cream!
April 14, 2026
- We did the school thing this morning-I think that the kids are almost over it...I'm just about over it too! That is true a little bit, but I really know that these school days are fleeting. I'm going to miss having Graham here next year.
- I did talk to Anderson and Reagan today. Reagan was buying some overalls, and Anderson registered. He had a pretty decent schedule but still has one class that needs to be changed. I'm not sure what will happen there though. He's struggling in one class, but he is getting closer to a decent (ish) grade. Hopefully, he can keep raising that score.
- Whitman went with Robby and Grannymom to eat out for lunch. He said that he enjoyed his meal and even brought home leftovers that he ate for supper tonight. Campbell went to take her accuplacer test (the 2 parts that she still needs). She didn't get the right amount of points, but she will next week.
- While they were all doing this, I took Graham to get his hair cut. He had it cut a few weeks ago, but he thought he needed a little bit of trim before it is prom time in a few weeks. We then ran to get gas for my car before coming home.
- Graham, Campbell, and Keaton went to Raymar this evening for more picture taking. I worked with Whitman on his science. Then I left to go to class meeting at Tacos for Life. I made it home after everyone else, but now Robby and I are again on the couch watching our tv shows for the evening.
April 13, 2026
- I beat Marley awake this morning but just by a little bit. I was able to get ready at least before she started barking. Of course since it was a Monday, I wasn't up too early so I just had a few minutes before it was time to wake up everyone.
- We all did school this morning, and before too long it was almost lunch time. We ate some lunches, and then Campbell and Graham went to work. I walked the dogs and took a walk. Soon Campbell and Graham were back home to pick me and Keaton up.
- Keaton worked tonight with them at Raymar taking pictures, and I ran some errands with Robby. We made it back home in time for Whitman and I to make supper. We had supper almost done when the others made it home.
- Then after supper, Whitman and Graham worked on Whitman's science-flying a drone. The goal was to land it at a specific spot, but I don't think that he ever got that far. However, he did enjoy flying it. I think tomorrow in science we make a drone landing pad.
- I made some scones for tomorrow's breakfast, and now Robby and I are catching up on some tv watching.
April 12, 2026-Maumelle with the Rock Creek Campers
- Campbell and Keaton left the house first this morning so they could get to church early to greet. Then Graham left; Keaton said that she was worried that he wasn't going to wake up. He did though and was there on time.
- Robby and I woke up in the camper mainly because Marley started fussing. It didn't take long for us to load up the last few things and head out of the campground. We came home and unpacked a little bit I eventually had to wake Whitman up because he was still sound asleep even though we had driven home and unloaded everything.
- He did finally wake up and came in the living room and fell right back asleep in the couch. I did wake him up so he could get ready for lunch at Nonna and Pops. We arrived there just a few minutes before the church kids did.
- Nonna and Pops had ham and cheese croissants which were very good. We stayed a visited for a while before heading home. Robby then drove me to a wedding shower. I didn't stay very long and soon we were back home.
- I tried to be productive this afternoon and evening, but I really didn't accomplish much from my list today-at least I wrote my list out. There was lots of running around tonight-Keaton had her lifegroup, Whitman had his life group, Graham had his d group, and Campbell went to Rock Creek plus Robby dropped the minivan off for the air to be worked on.
- We are now all at the house so it is time for me to start thinking about heading to bed. I do have a book that I could read a little bit of tonight or a book that I could listen to tonight and finish.
April 11, 2026-Maumelle with the Rock Creek Campers
- I woke up to my alarm clock ringing, and I could also hear the girls' alarm clock ringing upstairs. I had convinced Whitman to sleep in their room so Graham could stay up late. By the time that I made it upstairs to double check that they were awake, they were all moving around. Graham was even awake and headed to the shower.
- Keaton, Campbell, and Whitman left for the ACT first. I had been a little bit worried about them since this was all of their first tests, and Keaton and Whitman are just middle schoolers and shouldn't really be taking the ACT yet.
- However, tonight as we were eating with the Rock Creekers, a lady who is here often with us came up to us after she recognized Whitman. She was their proctor today for their test. It made me feel super good that someone I knew was there during their test.
- Afterwards, Keaton was worried that she did really bad. Whitman is hoping for a really high score so Robby will buy him a game. And Campbell is also hoping for a decent score-Robby has promised her a car or a cruise if she can make it to a really high score. I'm sure they all did just fine, plus they all have many more rounds of ACT tests to go.
- Graham and I went to Raymar this morning for the first soccer game. He helped in the concession stand this morning and then reffed two games. It was a little warm out there today, but overall is was a super nice day. After the test, the girls dropped Whitman off and came out to the fields, and Keaton ended up reffing a game.
- When I made it home from the games, Robby and I quickly left and headed back to the campground. It was a pleasant rest of the afternoon, and I learned to play Mahjong. I was able to play twice today, and even though I'm don't understand all of it, I do get the general idea.
- Back at home, Campbell babysat tonight while Graham played volleyball. That just left Keaton at home, but we also left Bentley at home too so she had company this evening!
April 10, 2026-Maumelle with the Rock Creek Campers
- Robby and I slept wonderfully well last night-Marley didn't even stir until after 9. She really does wake up at home when she does because it gets so bright in our room. In the camper, it is so dark that she had no idea that it was really time to wake up. We could have let her bark for a few minutes, and then she probably would have gone back to sleep.
- Back at the house, there was not a whole lot happening even when we woke up. Graham did wake up decently early for a teenager on a no school day and did some running-he also ran tonight too. Campbell and Graham had work this afternoon, and then Campbell left to babysit. She is actually still babysitting-I didn't think it would be this late especially since she has the ACT tomorrow.
- Robby and I had breakfast at the Wilson's campsite. Robby made some pancakes to go along with Tony's breakfast. Then we walked the puppies on a quick loop around the campground.
- Around 2 maybe, Robby and I left to go and walk Pinnacle Mountain's Base Trail. Walking this trail had been on my to do list for a while. I had thought about coming and doing it when Graham and Keaton hiked the mountain a few weeks ago (I'm glad that I didn't because they would have had to wait on me.)
- It was quite a trail. It said that it was 3.5 miles, but our watches just said that it was a little less than 3 miles. We had assumed that it was going to be fairly flat, but it was fairly rocky. The elevation gain wasn't much, but we had to continuously watch where we were stepping making it more difficult. It was a nice walk in the shade and even with a cool breeze so it was perfect.
- We came back to the campground, and while Robby rested I sat outside with Shannon reading and crocheting. Soon it neared supper time, and while I didn't count, it was maybe close to 40 or 50 people. We had baked potatoes and bbq which were super yummy.
- Around 9, Robby brought me home-the dogs rode with us. We brought a few things home, and while he was there Robby took a shower. I straightened a few things, and made sure that Whitman and Keaton headed to bed. Now, I'm just waiting on Campbell to make it home so I can go to bed.
April 9, 2026-Maumelle with the Rock Creek Campers
- I guess I should have been calling the blogs Maumelle with the Rock Creek Campers for a few days since Robby has been camping since Tuesday, but since I wasn't there, I didn't really feel like it should count as a trip yet.
- I made it to the campsite around 4 today so that is why we can now title the blog with a special camping title.
- Campbell and Keaton left first thing this morning to go to work at Mother's Day Out. They actually worked all the day long because they also worked back at church tonight.
- Whitman and I did school work this morning-he had actually done quite a bit of reading last night before bed so he started the day off ahead. This afternoon we did science, and he just had one more thing.
- Since I just have to work with Whitman on Thursdays, the day is always super different. Marley and I walked early this morning while he was doing school. Then I did a few things in the house before lunch time-I usually don't get much done before lunch.
- This afternoon I made some brownies before Robby showed up. I was going to drive to the campground but we just ended up riding together. I brought Marley with me so I think that Bentley was glad to see her sister-I know that Marley was glad to see Bentley.
- We made it to the campground around 4, and after I unloaded we went out to sit. The dogs were pretty easy today which made it a nice afternoon. After a walk, it was time for supper. Then we spent the evening visiting before making another loop with the pups.
April 8, 2026
- I slept in a little bit this morning, but only having one dog to take potty makes a huge difference in my timing of the morning. Bentley is camping with Robby so she is living the life while Marley is a little confused here and can't figure out where Bentley is.
- We did our school work this morning-some days are crazy and long doing school, but man, I just really love it. We are in a good rhythm right now, and for the most part things go super smoothly. Everyone has started to finish things which makes their days shorter which also makes my days shorter as well.
- Graham and Campbell went to work a bit early this afternoon so they could leave early for church tonight. While they were gone, I walked Marley and walked myself. Then I worked with Whitman-his science curriculum today had him making a satellite to go on top of stomp rocket. I think that I may enjoy this science more than he does.
- Graham made it home before I left and joined Keaton and me. We left first for church and stopped by Nonna and Pops on the way. We dropped off Graham's suit for a bit of pressing before he needs it in a weeks.
- We all did the church thing tonight, and afterwards Whitman and I were the only ones who came straight home. Everyone else stopped at ChickFilA for their supper. Now, I'm set up in the kitchen eating my supper and doing some school work.
April 7, 2026
- Marley was not awake this morning when I left the bed, but by the time I could put on my clothes and brush my teeth, she was ready to get out of her kennel. That was fine with me because she is pretty easy in the mornings (and her behavior progressively declines throughout the day unless we are in the kitchen, and then she is perfect. Though right now she is actually cuddled up beside me chewing on a toy.)
- I did my morning things while watching my college kids on the life360-Anderson had a test early in the morning so I was happy to see that he made it to class on time. Reagan said the benediction at chapel today-she sent my a picture, and Anderson even sent a video. Reagan did say that no one would be listening because they would be busy packing up their backpacks, and from the video it was easy to see that they were all indeed getting ready to go.
- The rest of us did school around here during the day. Campbell and I did leave to take a car to Robby this afternoon. He has joined the Rock Creek campers at Maumelle Park for the week. I'll join him Thursday, but our weeks always seem busy when they have this camping week.
- On our way home, we stopped by 7 Brew-that girl loves her some expensive drinks. When we did come home, I started on supper-baked potatoes and chicken-and I took a poll about what people wanted to eat for the rest of this week.
- After we ate, Campbell and Keaton got a little restless. They said they were going to TJMax and Walmart-when I heard Walmart, I quickly handed those girls my grocery list and loaded an ice chest in the car for them. We shall see if that was a good plan when they get home, and I see what I actually did buy!
- While Graham worked out tonight (he said he didn't need me to spot him while he was lifting his weights), Whitman and I played a game. It was a hard game, and we barely got through it. I would have played longer, but alas my puppy had to wake up from her nap!
April 6, 2026
- I woke up on this Monday morning and put some scones in the oven for everyone. I think that they enjoyed them, but I ate 3 of them so I know that I certainly enjoyed them. (That wasn't a great start to my being healthy this week plan.)
- We all did our school work this morning, and things went very well. Graham and Campbell were the first ones to leave this house today because they had to go to work. I think that they were pretty busy most of the afternoon which makes the time pass quickly.
- Reagan was the next one to leave this afternoon. She had an interview at a camp that she would like to work at this summer. They really liked her, but there is just one position open so she wasn't really sure if she would end up getting it. I guess she will wait to find out before she starts applying for plan b (she doesn't yet have a plan b though.)
- Whitman and I left next for his first real visit to the orthodontist. Actually, it was a nothing visit because they just scanned his mouth and then let him pick a color for the thing that he is getting next. I'm not sure what they called it, but I think he has this for a few weeks before he does get braces.
- We came home, and I went for a walk. When I was done, Anderson left to head back to school. He has a big test tomorrow, plus he has to work on his summer job. Who knew this summer job stuff would be so stressful (maybe they aren't stressed but I am.)
- We all ate supper tonight-it was a fend for yourself night, but we did make a few things too like orange chicken and a frozen pizza. After supper, we didn't really do too much except for trying to watch the basketball game. It was difficult to watch since most of the tvs in the house were watching it, and it would kick our tv off occasionally. Whoever does end up winning the game, I will still be the big winner at the house because surprisingly my bracket had the most correct games.
April 5, 2026-Happy Easter!
- I guess that the girls were the first ones awake this morning. Keaton had to be at church at 8:15, and Campbell was her driver. They enjoyed getting there early to have a bit of socialization time, except Keaton was at a bad set of doors. She was at the doors that people had to walk past, but not doors that people were planning to go in. So she would open the doors and greet them, but they would just walk on to the next doors.
- Keaton had even saved us seats today, but we still ended up separated. That was fine though because we were all still near each other. After church there was some debate on where to take our family picture, but since Keaton and Campbell had already left, we opted to take it at home.
- However, since Keaton and Campbell stayed a bit to see their friends coming for the next service so that meant that Graham had to keep his Sunday clothes on which must have been painful because he was counting down the minutes until the girls arrived.
- We then took our pictures and within a bit, it was time for our Sunday lunch. Jason, Nonna, and Pops showed up, and Grannymom, Dana, Cash and Lacie were right behind them. Everyone brought food, and we had just as many leftovers as we ate!
- Everything was very good, and the kids really enjoyed the Easter egg hunt. Robby had candy, gift cards, and money for the winners. Everyone but Anderson and Reagan did an egg toss-Graham and Whitman were the first winners. I'm not really sure why an egg toss became a tradition here, but they absolutely love it.
- Soon everyone left, and I had myself a nap since Grannymom and Nonna had pretty much cleaned the kitchen. Robby ran some errands, and after my nap I worked on the house some. When he came home tonight, we all loaded up and went to the Wilson's house for our Sunday night supper. Campbell was at a friend's house so she missed most of our evening, but she swung by on the way home.
- Now, everyone is home for just one more night. Tomorrow Reagan has a summer job interview, Anderson goes back to school, and the rest of us do some school work.

- I woke up just in time to make sure that Graham was awake. He was already showered and ready-the last few school days I have started to worry about his ability to wake up in college, but he did fine today waking up.
- He went to another country club today to take more Easter bunny pictures. He finished a bit after noon and stopped to get lunch on his way home.
- Robby ran errands early this morning, and Keaton and Campbell left around lunch time to go to Nonna's house to help decorate the Easter bunny cake.
- Robby and I left soon after to run some errands. We were out for quite a while, and while we were gone the girls all left to go to Old Navy and Target. Reagan was the only one who bought anything, and as soon as they pulled into the driveway, Campbell jumped into another car and left to go to a friend's house.
- Keaton headed inside to make supper because this was her night to cook. She made "Chipotle at home," and it was all delicious. It wasn't that hard to make because she just had to heat everything especially since we had bought fancy Costco chicken.
- We all ate around the table, and then the big boys played basketball while I made a few things for tomorrow. After I finished that, Robby helped me make some cookies for one of tomorrow's desserts. Now I'm on the couch, and I don't plan to leave for the rest of the evening (though it is almost over!)

- Another slow and wonderful day. Campbell was awake early so she could watch some a show that she is binge watching. When I say early, I mean early for a 16 year old on a day that they do not have any school work.
- I had already walked Marley and Bentley and myself by the time that she did come downstairs. Not too long after she came down, Keaton and then Whitman came downstairs. I ended up watching some of Campbell's show with her for a little bit (I also closed my eyes for a little bit too.)
- Then she had to go to work. Sara came over to borrow some crock pots, and Shannon came over to deliver me some scones. Then Robby picked Campbell up so she could head to babysitting while Graham headed to the country club to help take Easter bunny pictures.
- Whitman and I made a stomp rocket today, and when he went to test it out, it landed on the roof. It took a little bit of failed creativity to get it off the roof because eventually the wind just blew it down.
- Reagan came home first, and after visiting with her, Robby and I left to run some errands. Anderson was home next, and then Graham finished working. We brought supper home for the big boys-they were the only ones who wanted any.
- I just made Reagan some ravioli and am cuddled up on the couch for a bit. The girls will get home later plus we have quite a bit of tv watching to do tonight.
