- I had just made my list this morning and even wrote out what time I needed to do things. The first item on my list was "walk," and I was headed out the door when I looked out, and it was pouring. Robby had just been mowing so I couldn't figure out where he was (he came in just as I was wondering), and then I couldn't figure out why it was raining when I had just looked at the weather app.
- Eventually, the weather cleared, and I was just about finished with all my other chores. Then the lights went out. Graham was downstairs already, but it didn't take too long with the girls' fan being off for them to come downstairs.
- I briefly again thought about walking, and Robby was mowing again, but soon it started to rain again. Robby and I had to get ready in the dark-he had to take a shower upstairs because our hot water tank is electric downstairs so that was completely in the dark. I put on my make up in the dark so I just winged it.
- We then picked up Nonna and Pops' to go to Jennifer's grandmother's funeral. It was a good service, and even though Pops hadn't been on to many excursions since his last hospital stay, he did well today on our outing.
- While we were gone, the kids dutifully checked off their chores and school work. I encouraged them to do most of it when we just left-Graham was quick to point out that he couldn't vacuum without power. They had said that the power wouldn't come back on until 3 or 4. Thankfully, it came back on earlier that that so the vacuuming was indeed done when we came home.
- We made it home about 5 which gave us plenty of time to get supper prepared for Campbell and possibly 14 of her friends. We were just going to do something easy like ham and cheese croissants, but Campbell really wanted chicken tacos so that is what we had.
- Reagan and Anderson went to church for Bible study this evening. Afterwards, Kennedy came here with Reagan, and Graham left to meet Anderson and bunch of others to play pickleball. Cookies have been made for all of Campbell's people, and they are all starting to trickle home.
