July 29, 2025-Happy 17th Birthday Graham!

• Even though it was crazy hot today I went on my walk and came back a sweaty mess. Bentley was still sleeping so she didn't have to go-it's probably really hot if you are covered in fur.
• Campbell babysat today for a new family. They live near Bauxite so I planned to stay out the entire time. I was able to drop off a meal to a friend that just had a baby, and then I went to get my hair cut.
• When I left the house, Robby just kidded about the mini van-I can't remember what he said, but something to the effect of it being on borrowed time. Well, when I went to start it there was just nothing. The battery things all worked, and even the air came on. However, the engine didn't even turn over. 
• I called Robby so he headed my direction. I needed to buy a little gift for someone at Walmart, but since I was at Target, I went there. I walked around the store until Robby was near. He tried the car and called the mechanie.
• We knew what he was going to say since he has said it before-the only other thing to do for that car is a new transmission. Robby called our AAA people (it's not AAA, but something similar), and they called a tow truck.
• While we waited for the tow truck, we ran to Academy and then quickly walked in to Walmart. Campbell text saying that her babysitting mom was headed back to the house. We abandoned our Walmart shopping, and I dropped Robby off at McAlisters to wait on the truck so I could pick up Campbell.
• I picked her up just as the tow man arrived. Robby ended up riding home with the tow truck man since he had them bring the car back home-we will have to find someone to pick it up and take it away. 
• We were close to getting a Grandpa's car for Anderson so it is kind of like we are now down two cars. Quite a bit of the time, we are good car wise, but sometimes it gets a little crazy. Tonight was one of those nights.
• I'll come back to tonight, Graham woke up with doughnuts for his breakfast. Robby ran to get some early this morning for him. Nonna and Pops came over with a crumble cookie for him as well, so he has been able to do quite a bit of celebrating.
• Tonight was Summer at the Station, but Graham didn't want for us to send birthday goodies there though. He ended up driving Reagan's car since she went to the lake today with friends. Keaton and Campbell went with Graham. 
• Anderson usually goes, but he had his senior lifegroup tonight. Campbell went to play volleyball tonight when the church thing was over. 
• Oops, sorry Shannon, I see that I forgot to publish this blog last night. Robby and I had to pick up Campbell and get gas for Reagan's car late last night, so I forgot to finish when we came home! I'll do better tomorrow!
