April 2, 2026-Happy 13th Birthday Whitman!

(Click for today's pictures)

  • Robby went early this morning to get doughnuts for the birthday boy. He made it back home just in time for the girls to have one before they headed to work at Mother's Day Out.
  • It usually takes a while for me to get Whitman up in the mornings, but this morning he didn't need any reminders to wake up. As soon as I said doughnuts, he was downstairs. It took Graham a little bit longer to get downstairs so he could have his doughnuts.
  • Whitman didn't have much school this morning. He mostly had reading which made him happy, and this made me happy too because I didn't really have much school stuff to do today. I know that last week was spring break, but it was still nice to have a slow day.
  • I was able to work early this morning, but I had to walk quickly because it was about to rain. I did let Marley walk for half a mile with me and then came back to take Bentley for another half mile. Then I put them both up so I could finish.
  • When I was walking, I saw the trash truck. I noticed that Robby had taken the trash can and put it up I was quite impressed because the truck had really just left. He saw that the trash can was gone and was surprised that I had already put the can up.
  • After my walk, I saw that the trash can wasn't behind the house, but i just thought that Robby didn't want to wake Marley. Finally, I asked, and we realized that our can was missing! Robby called and the lady said it probably just fell in the truck. They would deliver us one within the next week-we need that thing tomorrow! We make a lot of trash around here.
  • This afternoon Keaton and Campbell picked up a drink for Whitman on their way home for his birthday. Grannymom even came over to give him his gift-which he immediately spent!
  • Robby and I ran a few errands this afternoon and picked up pizza for our supper. I think that Whitman had a great 13th birthday especially since he is out watching a movie with Robby.
