Dennie Kids: January 17, 2010

Highlights from today: (click here for pictures)

  • Breakfast in the car from Burger King-this way we are able to arrive a church a few minutes early.  We even had time to sit in the car for a few minutes before heading in (gotta love that new mom parking!)
  • Reagan was thrilled to wear her fancy dress to church this morning-she thought she looked like a princess and she even noticed that everyone at church said that she looked like a princess
  • Playing at Grandpa's house a little bit before lunch-Graham is feeling even better today so he enjoyed playing
  • Heading downtown for the March for Life-Graham woke up just as we boarded the bus to the start of the march.  He looked around and just smiled-these Dennie kids love a bus ride!
  • Walking with all of the other people to the "water tower" (Reagan confuses the capitol building with a water tower).  Anderson was delighted to see the police cars and motorcycles-probably because he was a little concerned that we were walking in the middle of the street
  • Playing in the grass of the capitol-the big kids played chase and were devastated when it was time to leave.   Dad promised that we would come back again to play
  • Naps for Campbell and Graham while Reagan and Anderson watched a few movies on the couch
  • Dropping Dad off at church for a meeting and picking up McDonalds to eat in Pop's office.
  • Anderson going to Reagan's class tonight-he was so excited to go with her (now, what are we going to do next week?)
  • Going to "Ridge's party" and eating a few snacks with Grannymom, Grandpa, Nonna, Pops and Jason before heading home to bed
