  • I woke up aroun 5 this morning, and it took me a while to go back to sleep. Thankfully, I finally did. My body was still tired from yesterday, but I went to work on the laundry since there were uniforms and ref shirts to pack in the car to take to Raymar this afternoon.
  • I had my shower, and then started on the second batch of laundry, and my second round on making sure that the kids were all awake.
  • We hurried on to Sunday school this morning so Keaton would be able to say all of the verses that she has memorized throughout the year and earn a gift card.
  • Whitman spent the night with his friend and showed up soon. He was also able to say all of the verses and earned himself a gift card as well. (Though Whitman earned a Dairy Queen gift card last year for saying his verses, and we haven't even taken him there yet. We certainly need to get around to that soon.)
  • During big church, Reagan sat in the Venue with her buddies while Campbell kept kids in worship care. Robby, Keaton, and Graham ran home during the sermon to let Bentley out and then to pick up some lunch for us.
  • I then drove everyone else to Raymar. We had to get there pretty early since Anderson needed to be there to start setting things up. We all had our lunch, and then it was soon time for today's soccer games.
  • First up was Whitman's game-this was the game that I enjoyed watching because it was a little bit less stressfull. Whit's team won the game 4-1. The one goal that the other team made was when Whitman was goalie-it was a penalty kick and there was really nothing that he could do to stop it.
  • On the other field, at the same time was Keaton's team. Her team also won-I believe her score was also 4-1. Keaton scored 2 of those goals. It was during these two games that Pops mentioned that all of the other coaches on both fields were doing a lot of yelling and screaming while Robby was coaching Keaton's team, he was doing little yelling and screaming. I said that this wasn't Robby's first rodeo-he has been doing this for a long while, and really, he knows what is going to matter tomorrow-and how well a 3rd grade girl kicks a soccer ball is not going to matter at all the next day or even the day.
  • The next game was Campbell's game-bless Campbell. She tries her hardest-when she throws that ball in bounds, she hurls is across the field. A few times she practically threw the ball into the goal. The one score of the game was whehn she thew the ball towards the goal, and their goalie bumed the ball into the net.
  • Campbell didn't really care much about staying until the end of the soccer game-she was out the last two periods-because she was much more interested in getting to a camp planning party. The party had started at 2, and she didn't get there until 3:30, but she did have another hour there.
  • Then her party moved on to her Sunday school teacher's house. They had a party for all of the girls. Campbell had a great time, and when we came to pick her up, we ended up staying for a while chatting.
  • After I dropped Campbel off, I hurried home and started unloading things from the car. Whitman was with me and helped unload. Then I went to work putting things up-I worked for about 20 minutes when Whitman came downstairs sweaty, red and frustrated. That child had been trying for 20 minutes to get his jersey off of himself. I reminded him that he should have said something earlier since I was easily able to help.
  • Robby and the others came in after Anderson cleaned up from the games, which gave us enough time to have showers before heading out again. Anderson went to Rock Creek tonight, while Graham chose to go with the rest of us to church for the 5th grade Bible presentation.
  • Keaton received her Bible and was pretty proud of it. She has already requested that we put her name on it this week. After church, we had to pick up Campbell so we went out to eat at Panda Express. We had enough leftovers that we were able to bring some home to Anderson.
  • Right now, Robby is about to walk on the treadmill, but we just have one more castle to watch.

  • Soccer morning, and I am super thankful that there is only one more early morning. Anderson, Campbell and Keaton were leaving on the first bus. I didn't have to go early wtih them, but I still had to wake up to make sure that they were awake. So while I waited on them to climb out of bed (actually, the girls were up and getting ready already so I was just mainly overseeing that Anderson woke up) I worked on on the laundry and dishes.
  • The next bus left one hour after Anderson left. We started off with Bentley with us, but Robby decided that when he went to pick up the ChickFIlA for lunch he would take her home since it was so wet and then became so hot. She isn't a getting hot kind of dog-such a diva.
  • Keaton and Whitman's games were wins today. Keaton scored 4 or so goals. Now Campbell's team just struggles so they didn't have a win, but they did come back and even out the score a little bit but not enough.
  • Whitman went home with Owen to spend the night. Robby, Reagan and I ran to Hobby Lobby and Kroger. Well, Robby dropped us off at Hobbly Lobby while he went to Kroger. Then we came home for a minute.
  • Robby and I showered and then headed off to church to help with the Senior dinner. They asked the Junior parents to help tonight so that is what we did. It was kind of fun seeing a few people that we don't usually get to see.
  • We just rolled back home, and I already have another load of laundry to fold before bedtime tonight.

  • I slept a little bit later than usual, but I had great plans and multiple list to start the day with. The house was a bit in a disorder after the events last night.
  • Just as I had finished the blog, Cambpell let us know that the potty downstairs was clogged. When that potty is clogged sometimes, well really just once, it also backs up in the shower next to it.
  • Unfortunately, it did that last night. Though I guess we can be thankful that it wasn't potty water. Instead it was everything that I had put down the garbage disposal in the sink earlier in the day. Yep, we had a problem.
  • Robby plunged and prayed, and then headed to Dollar General which was, of course, closed. Then he headed on to Kroger to buy one of every single drain cleaning option. When he came home, he continued to plunge and pray while I paced and prayed.
  • Just a reminder the pipes on that side of the house are nearing 50 years old with who knows what for a septic tank. The day will come, and probably soon, that we will have to have some major work done. However, we have a few Disney trips scheduled right now and no rainy day pipe fund.
  • Eventually, Robby was able to work his drain magic. He then cleaned things up, and poured the ramaining bottles down the drain to let them soak over night. Now this meant that the kids couldn't shower or potty on that side of the house. That caused lots of coming and goings last night to our side of the house, but I do believe that everyone still slept well last night.
  • I know that the girls did because at noon I asked them if they wanted to go with Robby, Whitman and I to run some errands. They agreed and soon we were on our way.
  • Campbell, Keaton and I did some Walmarting, while Whitman got his hair cut with Robby. Then it was on to Sams to pick up things for the trip.
  • The next stop was Kroger followed by a 40 minute wait for the boys' burgers and Whataburger. While we were waiting in that line, Campbell and I walked on over to the new Taco Bell to pick up Campbell's lunch.
  • We hurried home, and were there for about 10 minutes before we left Keaton and the groceries at home, Reagan was headed home from work, and her and Keaton didn't want to go to the movie.
  • The rest of us went to see Gaurdians on the Galaxy 3-the big boys said that it was "good" and Whitman rated it at an 8. I did get a good nap so my rating wouldn't be as high at all-I probably could have gotten a few things marked off that list if I would have stayed at home, but there is always tomorrow (kidding, we have things all day tomorrow and Sunday, but there is always next week)

  • The last day of school around here. Reagan aced her College Trig final. Graham wasn't as sure about his test today, but I'm not worried. The rest of us finished up school here at the house.
  • It is odd to think that I now have a 5th grader, 6th grader, 8th grader, 10th, 11th and 12th grader. I even pulled out Whitman's school work for the fall which is one of my favorite things ever to do. Since we don't get to really buy school supplies (we don't really need anything), pulling out school work and getting a few new books each year is my favorite.
  • Whitman wsa in a super foul mood this morning when he did wake up. Maybe foul isn't the right word-he was just super grumbly. He did eventually perk up and finish his school. I helped him zoom through his math and soon he was done.
  • I took Bentley on an early walk when Reagan came home from her test which is also when Robby took Graham to take his test. Robby and Graham met me, Reagan, Campbell and Keaton at Kroger to fill up the cars with gas.
  • Then I headed with Campbell and Graham to the orthodontist. That was a quick trip, and they did not have to go back to the orthodontist until December.
  • The next stop was the one that Reagan has been dreading. She did not want to go and get her ear piercing fixed because she didn't want to hurt anyone's feelings. It was incredibly easy, and the lady was very nice.
  • Once the lady redid Reagan's piercing, it was even more super obvious that the hole was originally in the wrong spot. Since this was Reagan's 3rd hole in that ear-and the mistake piercing that didn't work on Saturday and then the hole they put in the wrong place-one of her ears has had 5 different piercings. Maybe she will be done for a while!
  • We stopped at 3 Fold for Reagan her end of the year treat. She shared with Keaton, and Graham decided that he wanted to wait for Whataburger later this weekend. We then came home and had a bit of down time before it was time to leave again.
  • Anderson had to leave pretty early so he could go and paint the fields. Robby went with him-he ran an errand or two and then just at and did his work until the rest of us showed up.
  • Our people didn't play any games tonight, but Graham was a ref twice and Campbell and Reagan had one game to ref. It was a nice night out there-and really, I do enjoy soccer more when our people aren't playing games-it is a little bit less stressful.
  • Once at home, we started on suppers. Some folks had eaten chickfila, Reagan made pasta, I had a bagel, and Robby made a pizza.

  • I had the oddest dream last night-it was just a continuation of the book that I was reading escept that the good guy had become the bad guy in the book. It was super odd, but I thankfully I was able to go back to sleep and not continue with that dream after I got up to go to the bathroom.
  • I woke some of the kids up too early this morning and some of them too late. So basically I just couldn't win, but everyone did finish their school work for the day so I consider that a win.
  • I walked for 2 miles today outside and then for another two miles on the treadmill. After all of that, it was nice to set down at Defy for a little bit and rest.
  • We were only able to get Whitman and Keaton to go with us so we did reward them (or maybe us) with a Sonic drink on the way home.
  • Reagan was at work today and needed to stay as long as she could since they were super busy so we met her at Nonna's house. She parked there and jumped in our car as we headed to church.
  • As a thank you, the children's department fed all of the Wednesday night workers and families food from Tacos for Life. It was all very good-last year was Tazikis, and I think that was my favorite though. However, last year the kids just got pizza so my kids liked this year's Tacos for Life better.
  • After church, we picked up the suburban and all headed home. There is some talk about ice cream, but I am too full for that plus I am not really sure if there is enough ice cream for all of my ice cream eaters.

  • I didn't feel too great last night so I slept in just a bit and let the others sleep in a little as well. Even with all of that, Graham and Anderson went to school earlier than usual so Anderson could work on a project. Reagan also headed to school earlier than usual because she stopped at ChickFilA for coffee.
  • It was a good thing that both of them did leave early since their classes started early today. I (and they) had receieved an email about that, but it was last week so we had all forgotten about it. They still made it in plenty of time.
  • The reason their classes started early was to give time for an afternoon assembly. My big 3 opted to skip it which was certainly fine. However, Reagan did get her name called for having a 4.0 while taking college classes.
  • The afternoon went by fairly quickly probably because of my 2 hour nap. The plan had been to go and get Reagan's ears fixed from her botched 3 hole job, however, they didn't have an ear piercing person there today. Ugh, we were both a little bit frustrated by that. Thankfully, I had called ahead before we left the house.
  • Soon we were all loading up for tonight's soccer games. Reagan worked with Joel's taking pictures. Anderson was able to hobble around and work tonight, but not able to ref his game. Graham reffed two different games.
  • Keaton's team played first and they did great. I think the score was 6 to 1. Keaton scored over half of the goals. Then Keaton played up on Campbell's team. Campbell's team lost tonight, but my Campbell is all over that field. She is my favorite to watch.
  • Whitman's team tied their ball game tonight. Robby had to coach his team since his coaches were out. It was pretty wild really-during the first game Robby had to go and take pictures with his second time. Then after the first game he had to take pictures with the first team causing him to be late to coach Whit's team. It felt like a crazy evening, but it was over quickly though!
  • We all were able to have some ChickFilA for supper tonight, so that made the evening easy. Now the kids are taking their showers, and I'm going to try to be better about pictures the next week or so. I have kind of gotten a bit lazy on the picture taking for sure.

  • Only 3 more days of school this week after everyone finished today's work. This is a fairly lite week which is good because this is turning out to be a busy week.
  • I was able to do all of my morning chores and start work on cleaning out the school room closet before noon this morning. I then jumped on the treadmill, and Reagan left to see Annie for a little bit, and all the other kids except for Whitman left for Grannymom's house.
  • When I finished with the treadmill, it was time for Robby, Whitman and I to go to Grannymom's house to help the kids with the rocks. Grannymom had 5 yards of rocks delivered today, and by the time we arrived the kids had gone to town on it.
  • We were able to help quite a bit, but let's talk about Whitman-he worked harder the first little bit than I have ever seen him work. It was a little bit odd. I wasn't expecting much, since this weekend he kind of has had a cold, but apparently he felt fine today and shoveled up a storm.
  • We worked for a few hours and then all headed home. Anderson then went to Raymar to set things up for soccer tonight, and Keaton and Campbell went with him. I took a nap and woke to Graham asking me when we were leaving. The answer to that question was right then so the rest of us all loaded up for Raymay. And a few minutes after we arrived, Reagan showed up.
  • Reagan was really working tonight since they were taking make up pictures. Graham reffed two different games. Campbell was supposed to work in the concession stand for an hour and then ref a game, but she ended up reffing two games.
  • Anderson reffed the second game and called Reagan in the 5th period. He had fallen in a hole and twisted his ankle. Reagan ran over and finished reffing his game while Anderson sat and iced his ankle.
  • It is super swollen, but he can walk on it. Right now he had take some tylenol and is icing it with it laying on a pillow. We have one ankle brace which Keaton has been using for a few days, so I orered another one which will be here tomorrow for Anderson. He has school and then work tomorrow so hopefully it will get better quickly.
  • Right now the kids have all had showers, some have had ice cream, the Castle watchers are all watching one, and as soon as it is over, I am hurrying to the shower and then to bed.
