Highlights from today: (click here for pictures)

  • Church morning started with a melt down from Reagan.  The shoes that Mom intended her to wear to church were not what she had planned on wearing.  She preferred her white Sunday shoes while Mom opted with her brown everyday shoes (Mom forget we had last years pair of black Sunday shoes in the closet).  After the tears and a quick shoe shine by Mom she was happy again
  • Graham went to class without a fuss today which is always a relief to Mom and Dad.  They ended up in Campbell’s room for nursery duty and there were only 4 kiddos.  At at one time, 3 were asleep.  Mom’s goal was to get them all asleep at the same time but she never made it.
  • Since Grannymom and Grandpa were out of town, we had our grand Sunday lunch at Subway.  Mom and Dad had quite a Walmart list and needed to pick up lots of stuff.  So after lunch we did some speed shopping.  The only thing that slowed us down was Reagan deciding what shoes to buy.  She got a pair of black Sunday shoes (Remember Mom forgot we had last years) and Mom even let her pick out a pair of tennis shoes.  (Mom also forget that we had a pair of tennis shoes-but they are still too big)
  • Naps for everyone (but Mom and Reagan) this afternoon.  Reagan couldn’t close her eyes (so she said).  She ended up convincing Mom to let her watch a movie in Mom’s bed and eat a snack.
  • Back to church for Mom, Reagan and Campbell.  Mom’s class starts before Reagan’s so Pops was enlisted to take Reagan to class.  She made it and was pretty pleased that Pops took her-and she even left class with a package of gummies (what could be better)
  • Anderson was headed to big church but when Mom was reminding him that he was to sit when we sit, stand when we stand, pray when we pray and sing when we sing-he said “maybe I want to go to my class”  He enjoyed his class and was glad to see Dad
  • Everyone coming home and heading to bed late-Reagan is pretty pumped about the pumpkin patch in the morning, Anderson is wide awake since he had a long nap, Graham couldn’t go to bed without two hats in his bed now (he sleeps with a pillow, tiger, fox, elmo, taggie and two hats) and Campbell was pretty tired and had her milk and went to bed
