Making a tornado!

  • When I woke up this morning, I asked Robby if he fed Whitman.  He said "no" and asked when I fed him.  I had not, so I quickly checked on and he was peacefully sleeping.  Whitman had eaten quite a bit around midnight so maybe that is what got him through the night.  The poor baby was pretty miserable during the evening hours so I guess a good nights sleep is what he needed.
  • Speaking of miserable, when I went to wake Keaton up the room was stinky.  I thought it was from her diaper but alas it was not.  Poor thing was laying in dried throw up.  I took her to the shower and Robby took her bed outside.  I scrubbed her pretty good but didn't get the smell all off of her mainly because she was not going to be left alone in that shower.
  • Keaton still wanted breakfast even though we tried to distract her from it.  She had a banana and milk and never missed a beat for the rest of the day.  We are guessing that she just ate a bit too much last night.
  • We continued with our lazy morning and just about all we did accomplish was laundry.  Robby did run while the kids had ipad turns.  Keaton helped me with the laundry.  Then she had another shower with Robby to get the smell off of her-helped some.
  • We did make a tornado in a bottle like Anderson had seen from someone on the soccer field.  They were so excited to make this-need to make it in smaller bottles next time so they can actually lift it up.
  • Soon it was lunch and then we all headed outside.  We picked up a few sticks and then Grannymom and Grandpa came over.  They helped rake while the rest of us picked up more and more sticks.  Nonna and Pops arrived a bit later and they took Graham for the evening.  They even wound up at Chuck E Cheese (spending my inheritance).  And when Grannymom and Grandpa left, they took Keaton home.  And I really think that Keaton was happy about getting out of here.
  • So we were down to 4 kiddos-Whitman spent most of the rest of the afternoon in the big window so I could easily check on him, Anderson supervised some more and played quite a bit in our new mulch pile, Campbell stuck with Reagan and they helped some and played the rest of the time.
  • For the last hour or so of the night, we bribed the kids with a trailer ride to help pick up-and it worked.  Of course while they were on their ride, I ran around the house straightening and quickly took my shower.  This really helped out and the house was straight and the kids were almost showered by the time Robby came in.  I even had time to put Robby's lasagna in the microwave-I'm good like that.
  • The kids were pretty tired from the day so after supper we let them watch a few movies and even had chocolate chip cookies.  Campbell had followed Robby and Whitman to the bonus room and Robby told Campbell that she was his princess.  And she said "no, I'm not wearing a dress."

Moving a mound of mulch!

  • This morning was a bit different than usual-Keaton was one of the first ones up.  I brought her into our room and she looked around to see Graham and Campbell laying with pillows and sharing a blanket next to Whitman who was in his bouncy.  I put Keaton in between Robby and me and she would just smile and laugh at us.  Then the others started joining us and Keaton thought all of this was hysterical.  She usually wakes when the others are about to start eating breakfast so this was all new to her.
  • Robby took everyone with him when he dropped off Graham.  He said that they all do so good walking in and everyone speaks to Ms. Stacy.  Then they stayed and listened to the opening-a few songs, prayer and pledge.  Next up was heading to Sonic for Happy Hour.  Seriously, we might should buy stock in Sonic since Robby still has one more week at home.  And Keaton has also learned what happens at Sonic and now demands her own drink.
  • Back at home, I had already picked up the house and started doing a few chores when they came in.  I was working in the school room and told Reagan and Anderson that they needed to do 2 of their workbook pages now.  Anderson whined, complained and made excuses enough that Robby and him had a meeting with the spoon.  The kids have become pretty lax on their immediate obedience so we are concentrating on fixing that right now.  Robby then told Anderson to talk to me and tell me "yes, he was ready to work."  When Robby saw Anderson he asked if he had talked to me and the boy said that he had.  I overheard this part of the conversation and let it be known that he hadn't talked to me.  This led to another meeting with the spoon.  After that Anderson was a perfect child for the rest of the day.
  • Robby started running and Anderson went upstairs and ended up watching the news with him.  Thankfully, the news wasn't too gory and Anderson didn't have too many questions.  Before too long, we were scurrying around getting ready to go and pick up Graham from school.  As we drove up, you could see envy in the eyes of all of Graham's classmates-every 4 year old wants to ride in a van like ours!
  • We had lunch at El Chico and this was our first time to go officially out to eat (officially because we were at a place that seats you)  Quite funny asking for a table for 8 when only 2 of you are over the age of 7.  We must have been sitting too near the front because everyone that came in and everyone that left, smiled or spoke to us.  Robby said that we should have charged admission to our little show.   After one man spoke to us, Reagan asked "why is everyone talking to us?"  But the kids were all being perfect-like we were able to relax and enjoy our meal.
  • On the way home, we decided to do a bit of yard work.  We ran down the road to get some mulch and edging.  And then raced home to beat the delivery truck so we could pick up some sticks before the load was dumped.  Soon the truck was dumping mulch and the kids were thrilled.  Though Keaton was a bit scared of this and when I opened the other garage door near her, she bolted towards me like a tiger was chasing her.
  • As soon as the truck left, Whitman started fussing so I went in to feed him.  And from my vantage point in the mudroom I saw all kinds of action.  My 4 big kids and 1 neighbor kid along with Robby all were swinging shovels, rakes, hoes and even what looked like an ice scraper to spread the mulch.  I guess there wasn't anything for Keaton so she found a broom from the garage and joined the action. So that was 7 tools being used.  I just sat there and jumped and flinched thinking that the worse was going to happen any minute.  Thankfully, no one was injured-well, we did have one bloody nose (Graham) but that was just due to a fall.
  • I tried to get Whitman to eat slower so they would have more done by the time I came out.  But he guzzled his milk and then I laid him in the window so we could check on him.  We worked some more and I noticed that my Anderson did most of his work from on top of the pile and his work consisted of telling others what to do.  I mentioned that Anderson would make a good supervisor.  Someone asked what a supervisor was and Reagan said "a lazy boss."
  • We finished just as the Kamps were on their way so we hurried around and showered the kids.  By the time they arrived, most of the Dennies had on clothes and the house was pretty picked up.  They ate with us as the kids ran and played and screamed.  I believe the kids spent quite a bit of time playing "silly simon says."  Some how that game involved pulling pants down or at least the talk of it so we quickly had to nip that in the bud.
  • When the Kamps left, Reagan picked up the bonus room and downstairs while Robby and Campbell worked on the school room.  Anderson, Graham and I worked on the upstairs.  Before long, the big 4 were in bed, Robby tucked in Keaton and Whitman, Robby and I headed to the bonus room.  Poor Whitman has been so spitty uppy and gassy tonight-probably because I put him in the swing tonight and all of the kiddos enjoyed pushing him a bit too high!

Sister keeping an eye on little brother!

  • Today started out like most days have lately with Whitman only waking at 4 to eat.  But this morning, Graham and Campbell were in our room before 7-way before.  Campbell was laying quietly so that was fine but Graham was trying to play with all of the happy meal toys from last night in my room.  I told him no but this was followed by a fit which was followed by me quickly finding my spoon.
  • I almost had Robby convinced that we should just stay in bed until 10 but he opted to run.  (Next week is my goal to become reacquainted with that treadmill, maybe next week or the next would be fine too)  Whitman ate again this morning and after watching Campbell for awhile in the floor, he decided that he wanted to snuggle with me in bed.  And man, we almost made it to 10-just a few hours shy!
  • The kids had the muffins from Nonna.  Campbell opted for a pop tart first and the other had their muffins.  I had forgotten that she hadn't had any and almost gave hers away.  It was a very close one.  Thankfully, Keaton didn't mind that she received a banana instead of a second muffin.  Reagan tonight asked when we were going to eat one thing each day of the week for breakfast (monday-muffins, tuesday-cereal...or whatever).  That will be soon, very soon-worth a try anyway even though it will probably flop.
  • After breakfast, the kids were all good and helped straighten the house.  Reagan swept some of the kitchen fairly well while Campbell loves scrubbing the potties.  It didn't take too long for the house to be orderly again-orderly, not clean.  I have given up on clean and now we settle for "clean-ish."
  • Graham did his reading book with me and then was excited to read some of it to Robby.  The other kids all picked 2 worksheets from their workbooks to do.  Anderson is really the one loving being out of school the most and asks me often how many days off do that have.  I can not believe that we are about to finish their second (and last) week off due to the baby.  Doing school at home is hard, stressful and pretty time consuming but our days lately are pretty crazy without having that routine and bit of structure.  Though this break has certainly been pretty nice.
  • Everyone (including me) played Robby in air hockey-we are going to miss him when he goes back to work but it is nice that we have one more week of him working from home.  The kids played in the toy room while we ate lunch and then it was nearing time for me to leave.
  • We had told the kids that when I left this afternoon they could play on the ipad.  They asked just about every 20 minutes when I was going to leave.  That sounds funny and all but when 4 kids each ask every 20 minutes that is 12 asks an hour and this probably lasted for 4 hours for at least 48 asks.  As I drove down the driveway, I could see them jumping up and down in my rearview mirror!
  • I took Whitman to meet his great-grandparents...didn't go to well!  I could never get my grandpa to wake up and my grandmother didn't feel well and was in a pretty foul mood.  Oh, well, Whitman will see them next week.
  • When I came home, Campbell was waiting on me and was ready to feed Whitman.  And before long, I was fixing supper and we were headed to church.  On the way to church, we heard that sirens were going off in Bryant and were guessing that church  might be a bit crazy.  But thankfully, the storms bypassed us and things were pretty calm.
  • It was pouring when Robby picked us up under the drive through but we stayed very dry.  Campbell was pretty beside herself about the thunder.  When we were almost home, Robby gave the order of what was to happen next-shoes off and on a shelf, pajamas on and back down to the bar.
  • Once at home, child after child piled out of the van. I unbuckled Keaton, leaving Whitman for Robby to get, and I headed in.  Reagan said that she didn't see Campbell and that she was sleeping in the van.  I wasn't too sure about that so I checked the shoe shelves for her shoes.  They weren't there so I hollared to Robby who was getting the baby out to check and see if Campbell was in the van.  That baby was asleep in her seat.  I am afraid that we would not have missed her for a good 10 minutes once inside.
  • The kids had a drink before bed and then went to bed.  Campbell did call us upstairs once saying that the others weren't doing the right thing.  They did all look suspicious to me but I let that go.  Later, Graham said that his pillow was hot.  My, the things that they can come up with to stall on going to sleep!

Sneaking off to the park...

  • Hard to imagine that little Whitman wasn't even born this time last week.  I already feel really good and he is already getting into a groove and fitting into this family.  Anderson loves kissing on him and Campbell will ask each time that we get in the car if we have Whitman with us (most of the time though we are already well on the way before she remembers-which wouldn't really help us any.)
  • Last night he ate right before midnight (yes, we are back to staying up late) and then he ate again at 4:30.  Actually it was 4:33 when I climbed out of bed.  Robby looked at the clock and remembered that I had given him all feedings after 4:30 and tried to tell me that our clock was 5 minutes fast!  Ha!  I don't mind waking once a night so hopefully he can repeat that tonight.  Though I will have to stay up  a few more hours until midnight to feed him-if I can make it.
  • The kids all woke up in time to go with Robby to drop Graham off at school.  They dropped him off and then all stayed to watch their opening-they sing a few songs, say the pledge and a prayer before the day starts.  Then the plan was for Robby and the kids to go to Sonic (yes, it is getting quite a bit of Dennie business lately), gas station and post office.
  • But Robby is trying to get the Dad of the Year award so he took everyone to the park.  They were gone for a long, long time.  Swings, slides, the merry go round and even a walk on the trail.  Keaton held her own and got around well on the playground, Campbell loved the walk on the trail, Reagan enjoyed making a flower chain and Anderson loved pushing the merry go round.
  • Meanwhile, back at home I finished my chores, stared at Whitman, did some of tomorrow's chores, started at Whitman some more and then ran out of stuff to do.  I was getting a bit lonely when the others arrived right before 12.  Poor Anderson's allergies started acting up and his little eyes were crazy red by the time they made it home.  We doctored them up and he quickly improved.
  • We had lunch and Keaton saw me in the kitchen working and she went and retrieved the poptarts thinking we were going to have breakfast.  She was not happy when I took them away from her but calmed when I did put more food on her tray.  She was starving and Campbell was exhausted.  I think that Campbell could have fallen asleep during lunch.
  • They played on the ipad some and then started watching a movie.  Nonna and Pops came to see everyone and the kids were happy to see them.  Nonna brought muffins and Anderson said "we can't eat them tonight, we are going to get a Happy Meal."  When Pops and Nonna left, the kids went back to their movie and soon it was time to load up for our big night.
  • Grannymom and Grandpa had picked up Graham from school.  I don't think we told him that they were coming so he was afraid that he was going to miss the Happy Meal trip to "Donald Duckys" (what Campbell called McDonalds earlier today).  So he convinced them to take him to get lunch-he was pretty pleased that he was getting to go 2 times in one day.  He also earned a whole dollar for working in the yard.  That child is going to be the first one to get his kindle.
  • We picked up Graham and then went to McDonalds.  We were pleasantly surprised that there were not really many people there.  The kids were tickled-each getting fries, apples, nuggets and a drink.  No one decided on chocolate milk which we were very surprised about.  And another surprising thing was that Keaton ate practically her entire meal-more than Graham or Campbell ate.
  • They played and played-Anderson mostly on the video game console and Keaton just at the bottom.  But they were all happy-so happy in fact that we stayed there for an hour and a half.  Once we made it home, it was quick showers.  So quick in fact that our shower head broke-thankfully Robby was the one that it broke with so no child got in trouble!  But our showers weren't quick enough-Keaton had time to do her business in the shower causing quite a commotion with Anderson who was in there with her.
  • We read a book before bed and then it was lights out for the Dennie crew-well, just 5/6th of them.  The other 1/6th is staying awake to eat some more before bed!

That's one way to get it in the goal...

  • Whitman ate around 12 last night and then snoozed happily until 5.  Robby never heard him the first time he ate and I never heard him when Robby fed him at 5.  Robby did mention that when Whitman ate at 5, it was good for him because it helped get him up and on the treadmill.  That is great because I immediately assigned Robby any feeding happening from 4:30 am on.
  • The big 3 had school this morning and Graham was the one who was dressed and ready before the alarm clock when off.  Of course, I heard lots of talking before 7 and had to go up there to remind them to be quiet.  But even though I was getting on to them, Graham was still so pleased that he was dressed without being asked.
  • Robby took the Graham to his class this morning and I overheard Graham say "I am going to spend the day with John Caddy."  What?  First my boys continued to talk about Skelley and now they have moved on the Caddy.  Maybe we need better role models.  Kidding of course.
  • Anderson and Reagan to their classes and then Keaton and Campbell to the store for a morning of shopping.  They shopped and shopped-until the crackers and cookies ran out and then it was time to check out and head home.
  • Meanwhile, I was at home picking up the kids room and saw a taggie in the stuffed animal box.  I thought it wasn't Reagan's but then looked again and saw that indeed it was my sweet baby's taggie.  What is she doing not sleeping with it? My baby is growing up-breaks my heart!
  • As soon as Robby made it back from the store, we unloaded his groceries and I headed back to church with the girls to pick up Graham.  I was pleased with everything that I had accomplished this morning though it is funny how you do forget how often you do have to attend to a baby.
  • Back at home, we ate a meal that was delivered by our Sunday school class.  While eating, we had some cake and my Campbell told us that she wasn't going to eat the "crust."  Crazy child. It was a pound cake.
  • Robby was on the phone at one point during the afternoon and Campbell asked me who it was.  I told her that it was Ms. Shannon and Campbell quickly replied "she already has a candy bar."  Ms. Shannon does not already have a candy bar but I think Campbell is afraid that Robby is going to give all of our candy bar birth announcements away so she has proclaimed herself the "candy bar keeper."
  • My Keaton is so funny with Whitman.  She loves to hold him but if he is fussing at all, she runs to get me with her points and grunts.  And she also gets a bit upset if he is fussing-she will start whining herself.
  • Robby picked up Anderson and Reagan from school.  The highlights of the day included Reagan earning a treasure box trip and Reagan's class doing word/logic problems.   And Anderson was super excited to tell us all about the fire alarm.  Apparently the church was working on the alarm and it caused quite a stir with the kids at school-a bunch of homeschool kids who don't know what to do when they hear a fire alarm.  Maybe we should have some practices around here.
  • So once the kids were all home, they were all in the living room playing.  I went to Robby's office and was just chatting away with him as I was putting some stuff up.  Then Robby looked up from his computer, said "huh?" and pulled out his ear phones-he had not heard a word that I had been saying to him.  Apparently the kids were too noisy so he just put in his earphones...when am I going to get a pair?
  • Before too long, it was time to load up for soccer.  Last week I was huge pregnant and this week we had Whitman with us.  And surprisingly, this week was much easier.  Keaton was perfect and spent most of her time on the blanket but did venture out to chase the ball on an empty field nearby.
  • My Campbell spent most of her time on the field with Robby-except for the time that I briefly lost her.   The boys team had moved to a new field at the bottom and I didn't move when she walked down there with the team.  Later I moved but she didn't know and left Robby to find me.  Thankfully, I noticed she wasn't on the field and looked around and saw her.  She had made it all the way back to the first field and was standing by my stroller (that I had left there) looking around.  I walked up there and she told me that she thought I was leaving her.
  • The boys practiced hard tonight and then Reagan also practiced hard.  By the end of Reagan's practice, Robby had everyone around playing-brothers, sisters, a full field of players.  They all had a blast and were exhausted when we came home.  So that meant quick showers, a quick snack and then bed for all.
  • Tomorrow is a big, big day around here.  Why you ask?  Well, happy meals are on sale and the kids know that we are going.  Graham's first question this morning was if this was happy meal day.  As we left their room tonight, they were talking about if they were going to get milk or coke with their happy meal.  And can you imagine how excited my kids are about getting those happy meal toys?  Can you tell that we never buy happy meals for the kids?

What a difference a week makes - TODAY
Last week.
  • Nonna said that a few days ago Campbell saw a cross and said that is a cross where Jesus died.  Nonna added that Jesus wasn't on the cross anymore and he was in heaven.  And then my Campbell said "and soon He is coming back and I can hardly wait."
  • Robby and I woke up early again this morning and things went fairly smoothly for our first Sunday of getting 6 kids ready.  It did help that Robby had told the kids they could watch him give Whitman a bath.  This is Robby's 6th little Dennie to give a bath to on an early Sunday morning.  He is actually the official baby bather.
  • We took another kid picture this morning before church.  They did pretty good even though their smiles aren't as good as last week.  What a difference a week makes-one week no baby, next week baby.  Craziness.
  • We had time to stop at Sonic this morning and on the way, we enjoyed hearing the kids laugh and talk together as we drove to church.  Robby wondered aloud who an only child would talk to.  When we arrived at church, we briefly stopped in the front to take a picture of Whitman in front of the church-as is tradition.
  • At church, we had lots of people coming to see Whitman and Keaton was probably the most pleased to show him off.  Whenever someone would stop us to look, she would also peer over into the carrier to check on her brother.
  • Whitman even went to his class this morning-all the kids have had the same teachers in the baby class so I knew he was very well taken care of.  He even stayed for the second hour while we went to big church.  After church, it took a bit longer to pick up one extra kiddo but we were still in the van at a decent time.  But then we had to pull over because 2 buckles were stuck so we had to climb back there to fix it.  By that time, there was no backing out of the parking spot so we had to stay for a few more minutes.
  • Lunch was at Grannymom's house this morning.  The kids ate great and were ready to change their clothes to play with Lilly and Cash for a few minutes before heading home.  Unfortunately, by the time we left the kids were all hot and stinky.  Seriously, stinky.  So much so that as soon as they walked inside the house, they had to climb in the shower.  Robby lined them up and hosed them off before I could finish gathering new clothes to put on. Actually, the baby hadn't even been taken out of the car and all of the other kids were clean.
  • Robby and I unloaded all of the bags, he emptied the dishwasher while I made lunches, Keaton was put to bed and the others started a movie.  That left us about 30 minutes to feed Whitman and rest our eyes before moving around again to head back to church.  And those were some of the best 30 minutes of the day-Campbell and Graham cuddled up with us, holding Whitman and snoozing-bliss!
  • Back at church, the big 3 went to choir, Robby went to his meeting and the plan was for me to take the little 3 to go and get cookies from the coffee shop.  Since Whitman was in the stroller, I just couldn't manage Keaton as well so the poor thing had to go to class.  She was not pleased about this and we talked that maybe she knew she was missing out on a cookie.
  • Of course with just Campbell and Whitman, Campbell was a perfect child waiting on her cookie.  We read a few books and then when she had finished her cookies, she carefully gathered the trash and took to the trash can.  Cutest little thing-won't be long before she is all grown up.
  • Church tonight was fine.  Graham had a bit of fit because something was in his shoe.  But the real action was the two teenagers in front of us.  At one point, Robby loudly placed his Bible on the back of the pew in front of us.  I was not looking that way at the time and thought "he has hit that boy with his Bible."  But he didn't hit him-thought about it but didn't.  Those kids behavior is just a reminder that we will have to always sit within arm's length of our crew.
  • We had our sandwiches on the way home and then it was time for ice cream truck when we made it home.  The kids knew exactly what they wanted so picking was easy tonight.  Then as the others brushed, Reagan and I worked on her oral report.  It was about Whitman and she wanted to measure and see how long he was so that is what we did before bed.
  • Robby and I sat down to eat and as soon as we did, Whitman woke up and drained a bottle.  Now he is all cozied up snoozing so he can be up all night.  Yes, last night he was awake for a 2 hour stretch and wanted to be held or eating that whole time.  Then Robby got up with him another time as well.  Is it too early for benedryl-ha, kidding.  So far, I don't really mind getting up with him-I know he will be in a bunk bed all too soon!

Game Day!!!

  • Whitman slept as well as he did last night-only waking at 1 and 5.  So that was great.  I forgot to mention on yesterday's blog that as I was feeding him his first night home, I was snoozing a bit and almost shouted out "roomba"-guessing I am wanting one off those vacuums for Mother's day.  And as I was telling Robby about this, he told me that he was dreaming that I was putting deodorant on the baby.  Today, when I mentioned all of this again Robby had no recollection about that so I guess he was still dreaming.
  • We stirred around 6:30 and needed every minute of that to get everything ready for the big day.  When I went upstairs to wake up the kiddos, Anderson hopped out of bed already wearing his soccer jersey and said "tada."  He was so proud and ready for his first soccer game.
  • The kids all had breakfast as Robby fed Whitman and soon we were all out the door.  We have decided that we need a wagon to haul all of our soccer gear to and from the field-thankfully, we have my brother and parents to fill that need.
  • The first game was the boys and man, they were on fire.  Robby had been a bit concerned about the boy's team but they smoked the other team.  They were bigger than the other team though.  Anderson scored 2 goals and Graham scored 1.  That is such a relief because now if they score no more this year, they at least scored today.  Anderson did pretty good and we were really surprised with little Graham.  He is smaller than the others but he stuck with it and ran and ran.
  • Campbell stayed on the bench for most of the game until I saw her hit her brother and throw her water.  Robby was on the field during this game so I had to walk over there and get her.  When she saw me coming, she started crying because she knew she was in trouble.  Poor thing, she just really wants to kick the ball.  So during the second game's half time, Robby and Campbell played on the field for a few minutes.  This made that child's day.
  • After the boy's game, they and Campbell had snow cones and waited for Reagan's game.  Whitman enjoyed his first official outing and relished being held by Nonna and Grannymom.  Keaton also enjoyed the attention and the goldfish crackers that I kept passing out.
  • The weather was perfect during the second game and Reagan's team did pretty well.  The other team was huge and Reagan is even smaller than most on her team.  Her team did get stomped pretty bad but my Reagan didn't give up.  I really think that she was the fastest out there-now if she wasn't so scared of those giants.
  • Reagan's favorite part of the game was when the ball flew right between Grannymom and Grandpa.  The girls all thought it was so funny and I captured some great pictures of Reagan laughing.  After her game, she got her snow cone and we all loaded up to wash the van.
  • Sarah Ashley's school was having a car wash so we figured that we would put their skills to the test with our van.  First we had to stop at the bank and then to pick up some food to eat in the car.  At each stop, the kids were looking for someone with a water hose to wash the van.
  • When we finally arrived, the kids were crazy excited.  We let them unbuckle and watch the kids wash the van.  They thought it was so funny-Keaton was also highly entertained.  Whitman could have cared less because he was snoozing away.  Actually, he has done that most of the day long.
  • We had one more stop on the way home and then I took Keaton in the house to feed him while the others helped Robby put up one of our 2 soccer goals from Christmas.  Now my Reagan did not want to wear her soccer clothes to play in the yard-such a diva.  We didn't let her change and that caused all kinds of drama.  We didn't let her change because my closet looked like an episode of hoarders with all of my laundry piled up.  Robby and I did it today and before we could finish putting it all away, Robby had already started loads in both machines-seriously?
  • After our family soccer game (and no, I didn't play too much or long) everyone came inside for showers and movies.  It was a pretty restful afternoon and we accomplished a few things off of the list.  My list is obviously abbreviated lately but we still aren't even finishing that.  That is fine though because I just will add it to tomorrow's list (laundry, straighten, school lunches, and Reagan's oral report)-see that isn't too long.
  • We hung up the kids soccer posters and they put the stars on their posters.  They were thrilled with this and then we had supper-leftovers.  Robby needed to have his run so we all watched Price is Right while he ran.  The big kids took turns with the ipad and everyone had a few turns holding the baby.  My favorite part of the night was when Campbell turned to Whitman and said "hey boy!"
  • After the showcase was over, it was time for bed.  The kids were exhausted from all of that running and we are pretty tired from watching them.
