Today we celebrated our 10 year anniversary. (click here for more pictures) It really just seems like yesterday - except we have gained 20+ pounds, our towels now have holes and we have 4 kids but other than that it doesn’t seem that long ago.
I don’t think that we had opened our wedding cake since our second anniversary so we decided to try it. Even though it is probably not a good idea to eat 10 year old wedding cake before a road trip-we took a chance. It was surprisingly moist and tasty (for 10 year old cake). Maybe all those marshmallows did help – someone told us to do that 10 years ago. Are the kids still doing that?
The kids enjoyed it and were quite upset when I said that I had to save a piece for our 25 year anniversary.
