  • When my alarm rang this morning, Robby was already out of bed and picking up doughnuts for breakfast. There are no frozen waffles here, no frozen pancakes, no bread for toast, no poptarts and only just a few choices of cereal. Because of all of that, Robby opted to get breakfast instead of us having to be creative for the crew's breakfast.
  • Campbell, Keaton and Laynie all ended up in the same bed last night, or at least that is what I hear. I also heard that Reagan and Camryn were up until 2 or even 3.  Eeek! It was a wonder that any of them were able to play soccer as well as they did this morning with so little sleep.
  • Keaton and Whitman's game was first. Whitman, just bless! That boy at least watches the ball and tries to keep up with it. He did kick the ball a few times, but that would happen only when the ball was kicked into him. The first game was still his best game!
  • Their team lost today, but Keaton did score 2 or 3 goals. Now, that girl would have to run from one end of the field to the other back and forth over and over again. And since her team is small, she only set out for one period.
  • Graham's team played next. Despite their loss, they played really well, and Graham had one assist. Both Anderson and Graham were really hustling today, even more than in the past. Next up was Campbell and Reagan at the same time.
  • Campbell's team lost but she did score their only 2 goals. The coach was keeping her back today, and somehow that messed with her enough that she wasn't her field dominating self. At the same time, Reagan was playing on another field. She was very worried about playing this team, but the game ended in a tie. Robby said that Reagan is just a bundle of nerves during the game when she is on the sidelines.
  • We tried to buy hamburgers next but they were out so we did buy a few hot dogs...I had 1/4th of a hot dog as my lunch though it was certainly enough since their hot dogs are monsterous (and we did top it off with shakes after the game.)
  • Anderson's team was next up. Now, they still lost the game this week, but they did so much better! Anderson even came close to scoring twice. It was obvious that he enjoyed himself much more today.
  • After the games, we celebrated with ChickFilA or Sonic shakes. This was also a bit of a bribe since we had some major grocery store work afterwards. The drinks kept everyone occupied while we shopped.
  • From there, we headed home for showers, laundry and a bit of clean up. I then left again to take the big boys to basketball. They had fun tonight and were crazy hot and sweaty when I picked them up. I had spent that time running errands.
  • Back at home, the boys showered again, and then we had supper that Robby made. He had chicken that one of the kids said was as good as ChickFilA. By the time we finished supper, it was almost 8:30. Robby and I folded 2 loads of laundry, and before we knew it, it was bedtime for the crew. Hopefully, the kids can catch up on their sleep tonight.
