Dennie Kids: December 5, 2010

Highlights from today: (click here for pictures)

  • Sunday morning, bath and waffles before church.  I guess it really wasn’t baths-it was 4 quick showers.  Campbell loved her waffle and she really would have loved it if we had put syrup on hers!
  • Anderson and his class getting to come into big church and then Reagan and Anderson’s classes got to come back during the next service.
  • Next was celebrating Dana and Brad’s birthdays at Grannymom’s house.  After eating and presents, all of the kids went outside in the freezing weather to swing for a little bit.
  • Nap for everyone and they must have all been tired because everyone fell asleep this afternoon-usually Reagan stays awake and plays with all of her animals.  Now she did have at least 30 animals in bed with her this afternoon (seriously, 30 or more)
  • Mom taking Reagan and Campbell back to church.  Reagan picked out her dress and she was very proud of herself and excited about singing in church.  Dad brought the boys back to church and they were both going to get to watch Reagan sing.
  • As Reagan walked on the stage tonight, she was searching for Mom and Dad.  She finally saw everyone and gave us a big grin.  Then she scratched her ear and slightly waved at us!
  • Her choir sang 2 songs and then she came to sit with us.  She was eating all of the attention up.  The boys were so excited to see her and sat fairly well for a 2 and 3 year old during the rest of the service
  • After church, everyone celebrated the performances with some cake and cookies.  Then it was time to head home for another tiny snack before bed.
