Dennie Kids: December 9, 2010

Highlights from today: (click here for pictures)

  • School morning and everyone had breakfast by the Christmas tree (it was actually by the tv but saying by the Christmas tree sounded better)
  • When Mom pulled up to school, Anderson asked about doing his Cubbie book like they always do on Thursdays but this week there wasn’t anything to read.  He said he just wanted to hold his book-Mom thought he was stalling and would have trouble going in….but he did just fine (Graham didn’t do just fine for Dad though)
  • Mom waking Graham up from his nap at school.  He was very confused when he woke up and stared at her for the longer.  Mom picked him up first so he could help pass out his and Campbell’s teacher gifts
  • Grannymom picked up Reagan and Anderson.  They had a big day and ended up at Rock Creek to play and play some more.  Mom dropped off Graham and Campbell and ran to Grandpa’s house to work on a project.  Soon everyone was back at home ready to drink some milk (Graham), take a nap (Campbell), watch a movie (Reagan) and play trains (Anderson)
  • Dad made it home with a pizza and everyone was excited to see him…or maybe it was the pizza!  After supper, the boys watched another movie while Reagan and then Graham worked on their letter Qs.  Campbell worked on rearranging Mom’s tupperware cabinet.
  • Reagan was very adamant that Mom begin another project around the house.  She wants a Christmas countdown like Daddy had when he was little.  I think it is the Hershey kisses that she is really thinking about.  But she told Mom a zillion times that Daddy got the red kisses, Dana had the green and Les had the silver.
