  • Whitman is on a pretty good waking up schedule in the middle of the night-just once.  Though he is so content after he eats and so wide awake and things are so quiet, I just want to keep him up to look at him and talk to him.  But since it is in the middle of the night, I do what any sane person would do and put him back in his little bed.
  • Robby, Campbell and Keaton took Graham to school this morning.  Ms. Stacy was not there and Graham was pretty excited that Ms. Jennifer would be there.  Ms. Jennifer is the one who talks to the Cubbie Bear puppet on Wednesday nights so I am pretty sure he probably expected that silly puppet to pop up sometime during the day.
  • He also said that Grant was waiting in the put togethers to play with him this morning.  And when it was time to pick up, Grant, Gate and him were the only ones that picked up-not sure how accurate that story is.
  • Meanwhile at home, we just sat around and waited for Anderson to finish his math.  I have no idea what I am going to do with that child-practice math a lot next week-that is what we are going to do.  Reagan's math does take awhile but she muddles through it and finishes with all of the sighing, banging, pencil tapping, window staring, chit chatting and doodling that her brother does.
  • Eventually school was finished and it probably helped that Robby brought home sonic drinks for all.  Soon though it was time for us to load up and head to Grannymom's house.  My weekly grocery store  trip was calling my name.
  • After dropping the kids off, at my first stop (no, not the grocery store) I ended up buying a dress for a wedding in May.  Yes, you did read that correctly-I said a dress.  My dad once said that he wanted me to wear a dress to his funeral-well, Dad I have bought the dress!  Seriously, Dad you don't have to worry too much, it isn't really a funeral dress.
  • Then I went to Kroger and since they are doing a bit of reorganization, it did take me quiet awhile to find the clearance section but I eventually found it (and bought nothing there).  I did spent my weekly grocery allowance and didn't even end up buying anything for supper.  We actually did have a good supper-thanks to freezer stuff and a well stocked pantry.
  • Back at home this afternoon, the kids played outside for a few minutes while Robby went to pick up Graham.  Nonna had picked up Graham from school and they had a picnic on the deck for lunch and even played kickball for awhile.
  • The kids did watch a movie for awhile and then they played a few games while Campbell, Whitman and I ran an errand.  The initial plan was for Campbell to stay home but since Robby was working and Campbell does not have a mute button she was sent with me.  We dropped by Shannon's house and then went for Whitman's parent dedication pictures.
  • He was sound asleep so I changed his diaper to wake him up.  Joel took about 5 pictures and then he got the perfect shot of the little guy and we were out the door in a flash.  Campbell stood right by my side and didn't say a word-so I left her there.  Kidding!
  • We had our supper at home and then Robby and the kids headed outside while Keaton and I worked on cleaning the kitchen.  Soon we joined them and watched the fire a bit as Robby burnt the railroad ties that we had in the yard.  Back inside it was shower time followed by bedtime.
