  • I was wide awake in the middle of the night. So wide awake that I thought about getting up and working on that school room closet of mine. Since I didn't want to wake Robby up, I didn't get up. I did have a brief panic moment wondering if I had requested all of my vbs supplies correctly. I was able to look it up on my phone to see that I did.
  • Afterwards, I was able to go back to sleep so that was good and felt well rested when our alarms went off at 6:30. It pleases me that all 8 of us can get out of this house in 40 minutes.
  • We were soon at Raymar-Anderson was helping set up the fields while the rest of us worked on getting the concession stand ready. Soon the games were starting-not ours though. Well, Reagan and Anderson did ref the first set of games, Whitman had the playground to play on, Graham watched a game, and Keaton and Campbell found some friends to run around with.
  • Then there were the games-Keaton and Campbell's game ended in another tie. Those girls play super hard. Campbell did score again. Keaton stayed in there today, but she was a foot shorter than most of the other girls on the other team.
  • Whitman's game was at 1-when the sun was scorching down on us for sure. Most folks did sunscreen today, and most folks are still burned. Whitman's team was also a tie today. Whitman continues to improve-today I saw one of his teammates run and kick the ball blocking it from going in the goal. I wondered who that was and then realized that it was Whitman. I am not sure if it is because he is maturing or not, but this is the first time that I think that he has kind of enjoyed soccer.
  • After Raymar, Keaton's friend came home with us. I worked on the kitchen folding laundry while Robby worked on the fridge-man, we hate that thing. It freezes up and starts leaking at least once a month. I guess there is one positive-it does mean that he has to take the freezer stuff out and reorganize that.
  • I then spent a bit of time on that closet, before Robby and I sat down to do some Disney planning. Then he and the boys ran to help a lady move a chair. And finally this evening the Hobbs came over with pizza for some Disney planning.
  • We probably successfully scared them with all of our planning. The kids had tons of fun playing together and of course the ice cream was a favorite of all.
  • When they did leave, it was time for picking up here and showers for the few shower stragglers. I don't think that anyone asked for devices tonight-they were all too tired to even think about it.
