When you are right near New Orleans and you are on vacation at the beach and it is a rainy week, you load up the van and drive to see the sights of the Big Easy. We weren't there long, but we were certainly there long enough to get a taste of the city. And by taste, I mean taste-beignets and pralines. The pralines were so good that we spent a small fortune of them so we could bring some back. They only lasted a day or two, but I was able to save one box for an ornament for our kitchen tree.
