  • When I woke up this morning, I thought that it was the middle of the night. Unfortunately, it was not-it was time to wake up. Robby went to wake up the kids, and everyone was sleeping except for Whitman who was happily in his box playing his ipad.
  • We got new stools the other day and put them together last night. Robby let the 3 littles keep the boxes which they have now spent countless hours laying in them with their devices. This is well and good, but boxes seem to be everywhere in this house.
  • And there are also bar stools everywhere in this house. I did list them online to sell-and they really aren't worth much because they need to be painted, cleaned and really all need new screws or whatever since they are wobbly. I guess my price was a little bit too good-I have had over 55 offers...except I haven't gotten anyone to actually pay yet (I'm trying to be good and go down the line of offers, and I probably wait too long before moving on to the next person, but not everyone sits around with their phones in their laps...or do they?)
  • We had half the number of kids this week as last week in our Sunday school class. I wasn't teaching this week, but that does make it hard to plan! After church, we went to Nonna's house for lunch. Reagan liked the meal so much that she asked for a to go container and had it for her supper tonight.
  • Our afternoon was pretty slow around here-well, it was slow and short. Around 3:30, we all loaded up to go and see a movie. I don't think that I have been to the movies since 2019. This was a new movie-possibly a preview. It was really good-a British race horse movie. There were parts that were hard to understand because of their accents and others because of their Welsh phrases that they used. Despite all of this, it was pretty entertaining, and everyone enjoyed it. (And yes, I took a little nap during some of it.)
  • Back at home, we went right to town on making our Sunday night supper. Tonight we had pancakes, banana bread, sausage, biscuits and gravy. Breakfast is one of my favorite meals to eat, and since we had very few leftovers, I think that the others enjoyed it too.
