  • Graham and Anderson were the first ones awake this morning.  They laid in our bed for a few minutes until I kicked them out and told them to go and play their kindles.  Anderson did ask if we could play a game with them some time today so we agreed-I will agree to anything to have a few more minutes in bed!
  • Robby cooked breakfast while I played Monopoly Jr. with the kids.  This game went on and on but not nearly as long as the game of Life that Robby played with them during lunch.  He had no idea what he had agreed to-while they played, I picked up the kitchen, did some light vacuuming, played 3 other games with Keaton, Campbell and Whitman, made a tower with blocks with those 3 and even started the wash.
  • Robby and I did both have time to run on the treadmill some.  The kids spent some time playing their kindles and there were lots of domino tracks made.  Things were fairly uneventful but by 5, Robby and I were getting bored.  We tried to think of where we could go or what we could do but nothing really sounded that great.
  • We did finally decide on Cracker Barrel and the sure enough set us right by the door like we were on display for everyone there.  The kids had chicken, mac and cheese, pancakes, bacon and biscuits and I had apple cobbler.  Oh, I had real food too but that cobbler was the best part.
  • Before we left, Robby was in the house for a very, very long time.  I finally had to come back in and check on him-he was running through the house, resetting all of the clocks.  So when we arrived home, all of the clocks were already turned forward and the kids wouldn't know that they went to bed a bit early....
  • But my Graham keeps asking about those clocks.  His mind never stops.  He has asked if we need to change them now (we answered that they would be correct when he wakes up) and then he wanted to know how they would change in the middle of the night.  I am sure that he is upstairs right now trying to figure it all out.  That boy, well at least he isn't upstairs trying to figure out the birds and the bees-imagine all of the questions he will have about that!
