Hawaii was the 50th state for everyone (except for Whitman who soon made it to his 50th state in North Dakota). The cruise that we were on cruised through Glacier Bay National Park. There is something pretty spectacular about floating right up next to a glacier. The weather was a bit yucky outside, but we still braved the elements to take a few pictures outside. It was truly something to see. In the kids program, all of the kids were given Jr. Ranger badges and patches so one of those badges has now ended up on our tree.
