- We did jump up in time to gather everyone and stick some cinnamon rolls in the oven before church started. We had found the cinnamon rolls in the bottom of the freezer, and crossed our fingers as we put them in the oven.
- As it turns out-the church service was good, but the cinnamon rolls were not. They didn't really rise even though I let them thaw all night long. I do have another batch in the freezer so hopefully they will be better. I guess that we can try them next Sunday morning.
- When church was over, we watched our Sunday school class. Our teacher is just excellent, and they have been working through the Bible for years. It does kind of make me miss being in an adult class, but at the same time I missed making construction paper palm branches today with our first graders.
- After Sunday school, we ate our lunch. Pops had brought lunch over yesterday. I tried to assure him that we were able to cook for ourselves. He had made pork tenderloin, potatoes and beans. It was perfectly easy to heat up and delicious.
- Soon Jason came over to give Whitman his birthday present. Whitman was pretty excited with the gifts that he opened-one was a Lego type set that he had asked for. This seemed great and all, but I did not realize how parent involved it would be since it isn't just a Lego set, but a machine type Lego set.
- We worked one and then I was able to sneak in my Sunday afternoon nap while Robby caught up on his weekly sermon total. We watched quite a few people, though I did sleep through one of my favorites from last week.
- We did break the rules and go to the grocery store tonight. They have been saying that we don't need to go to the store at all over the next two weeks-we will see how long that we can make it! We tried to think of quite a few things and did manage to fill our buggy.
- As soon as we made it home, it was time for our life group to meet on zoom. We just chatted, but did so for quite a while. When it was over, we hustled the kids to bed so Robby could work on a shutterfly book until our bedtime.
