  • I woke up around 8 this morning and noticed that Robby wasn't in the bed. I knew exactly where he was-outside working. I put in my contacts and hurried out to help. I quickly noticed that Robby had been outside for a long while because his shirt was already drenched in sweat.
  • I helped for the next two hours. We finished moving the mulch from the tree stump that was removed. Then we spread the mulch out-our front flower bed was filled with a lot of mulch from the day that we went to the dump. Now however, it is filled the very brim (like 2 feet of mulch)!
  • Next we moved to the very smallest pile of branches. We filled the trailer full a few times and did clear out that pile. We have one more manageable pile to work on. Then we also have the massive pile that would make you want to cry!
  • Before we knew it, we were scurrying around trying to get ourselves and all of the sleeping children ready for church. We arrived late and struggled to find a seat. Church was good, and afterwards we found some folks to chat with.
  • Next up was lunch at Nonna and Pops' house. They had lasagna which was really good. Whitman had gone with Nonna a few days ago to paint pottery for his birthday, and today he finally received it. He was so excited to give me a coaster that he had painted. I put it in the living room for everyone to see. He painted a turtle as well, and also found a spot for it in the living room for all to see.
  • We came home for a few a little bit. I had just gotten to sleep when Keaton woke me up to help her tie something. I looked at my clock and realized that I just had a few minutes before it was time to go again.
  • We met up with a few folks at the pool tonight. We were there for about 45 minutes when someone got sick in the pool so it was closed. We then ran home to change before heading to the Kamps house.
  • Since it was supper time, we heated up some pork and took supper for the peeps. They pulled out a slip n slide so a party it became. We stayed for a while before heading home.
  • The kids all then showered before they had a bit of downtime. Robby and I worked on some lights in the driveway until it was bedtime for the kids!
