Spiderman!
Highlights from today: (Click here for pictures)
  • Today we had planned on going to Kennedy’s house to play but her mom was feeling yucky so I delicately broke the news to the kids and they were surprisingly fine with it.
  • We did a bit of school around the table and then the kids played so well together that I let them play and play.  I heard them playing school in the garage-they were having show and tell.  I wish I could have been a fly on the wall to hear all of that.
  • Robby had mentioned meeting for lunch out but since they were all in their pajamas (matching orange shirts) and playing so well, we passed on lunch and ate a little bit later today.
  • I packed another box and by then it was time for naptime.  Reagan and Anderson never went to sleep as usual today but they came downstairs within minutes of each other to tell us that their clock was broken because 4 was not coming-their clocks weren’t broken and 4 was just around the corner.
  • Nonna and Pops came by to pick Reagan up-their plans were to go and pick out her birthday present and then go out to eat.  Reagan guessed that they were going to eat at Chuck E Cheese-this did not sit well at all with the boys.  They ended up at IHOP and Pops said that Reagan talked all evening long.
  • The rest of us ran a few errands and then ate at El Chico.  Campbell had never eaten out so well-she was a perfect little girl (I guess she was taking Reagan’s place).  It was quite odd since she is usually a handful when we eat out.
  • When we made it home, everyone had a tractor ride, baths and bed for Campbell and a few movies for the boys.
