  • My people could have slept for another hour this morning but I had to wake them all up a bit before 8 since it was time to get Keaton to school and Whitman off to Nonna's house. I think that my crew was still exhausted from our weekend of partying.
  • I quickly helped Keaton and Whitman get ready and then everyone else quickly started on school. For a Monday, things went splendidly today. Anderson was pleased that he wasn't the last one finished today. We were able to work together and I even had time to fold another mound of laundry.
  • We had lunch and then the kids helped me with a few chores before they started to migrate outside. The kids didn't seem to notice the cool air. Graham said that his favorite thing about today was getting to work on the hole-over waist high to the kids. I am not sure what we are going to do with a 4 foot hole in our yard but for now, we will let it stay since it seems to make everyone so happy.
  • Around 3, Jason and Nonna brought home Whitman and Keaton. Whitman had helped Nonna make some cookies today and he was pretty proud of himself. The kids ate them while they were playing outside. Before I knew it, it was dark and the kids were still outside playing.
  • When the neighbors had to go in, my crew picked up and came inside. I ran them through the showers while Robby grilled burgers outside. We were both finished about the same time and all settled down for supper.
  • After supper, we let the kids dig into their cakes from Campbell's birthday. They were pretty decent and they saved plenty for tomorrow. Then we all watched a Christmas movie before heading to bed. It was a pretty good day!
