  • Whitman came into our room this morning and after laying quietly beside me for a long while, he finally asked me to get up. He wanted some milk. I helped him put his clothes on while bribing him with his cup of milk.
  • Whitman was a bit excited about school today because he had a bag full of ornaments to take. Everyone had to bring 6 of something in a bag and Whitman picked ornaments. Surprisingly, he said that his friends guessed what was in his bag.
  • The rest of us started on our school work. Campbell and Keaton were anxious to work on their reports for next week's homeschool day. They are just like Reagan wanting to have the best report and trying to earn that status by passing out something. Keaton will have candy canes for everyone as a part of her report. Campbell will have monkey bread samples for hers.
  • I had my shower at noon, and then it was lunch time. We read some and then the kids worked on their chores for a bit. Soon, it was time for me to leave for my doctor's appointment. I ran by the doctor's office first then on to my yearly blood pressure check (still good.)
  • Afterwards, I ran to Michaels, the Dollar Store, Hobby Lobby, Sams and Walmart and that took all afternoon. The kids hung out inside some but also coated up to play ball outside.
  • I picked up Whitman, and then switched cars and kids with Robby. Keaton and Reagan wanted to go to basketball practice tonight, and Reagan said that she did not want to go back. I think she was a bit bored. Campbell enjoyed her practice and well, the boys might just need ice cream after their practice. I would have made that happen tonight but had already heard that they had ice cream for snack this afternoon.
  • Once at home, Robby had chocolate chip pancakes, bacon and sausage waiting on all of us for supper. We scarfed it all down and then the kids headed to the showers. They had a bit of down time before bed.
  • The kids have been in bed for almost an hour now and Whitman is coming down the stairs with a very important question, "how many stars are there?" According to google there are 100 billion stars in the Milky Way so in all of the galaxies there are approximately 1 with 24 zeros after it.
